Having the bath in the room separated with curtains - however was a clever idea - was a bit unfamiliar to our living style but did not cause a major issue to our holiday.

One of the very best location I have ever stayed. The room met our expectations.But I shall also give the best score to Berlin Municipality for the great public transport system, superior.

I don't like the "modern" tendency to have bathroom without a separating wall, only a curtain... ok, the toilet IS in it's own room, but the fact that the wash-basin and shower are in the same room as the bed is a problem for me. Also, there was no white wine at the bar on the first evening "it hasn't arrived" (really??!) and the guy suggested we go to a local wine shop. Lastly, I was very surprised by the chaos and lack of space for breakfast. We were lucky that we went down early on Saturday morning but groups of 5 or 6 had real problems finding seating... the hotel should really re-think their breakfast offer, it is not good enough and although I liked the location, I wouldn't go back for this reason.

Location is very good, and the bed was comfortable. The brioches were very good, even though the chocolate ones were finished before we came down on Sunday morning :(

There was no fridge in the room which would have been nice for cold drinks or to keep basics from the supermarkets cold. The room smelled like old cigarettes, I hate smoking! It might have been from the AC unit, or the cleaning staff are smoking there.

The room is well located. You can't ask for better in Berlin, in my opinion. The room is dated but has a kind of charm to it.

It ticked all my boxes with no complaints.

The friendly staff at the hotel were great. We asked for local restaurants that do German food and we were not disappointed. Booking in was great and the hotel cafe was always welcoming albeit with a limited menu but it was a cafe. Breakfast was very good with what I thought was food to suit all tastes you would expect with a continental breakfast.The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The bath was a god send after a day sightseeing in the city.

The furnishings and decor were basic, dated, and a little tired-looking but everything was functional and spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfortable, so I didn’t mind. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to street noise, be advised that trams run right in front of the hotel.

The location was terrific (a short walk to the Museum Island and the opera house, among other things), and also close to several public transportation options (tram, bus, train). There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. The room was very large and the WiFi was strong. Breakfast was pleasant and convenient. Staff was available 24 hours a day in case you needed anything.

You can hear the trams from the rooms facing the street, but the hotel itself is very quiet thanks to good soundproofing.

The location is excellent for exploring Berlin on foot or using public transport. The rooms are stylish and those facing the street have a huge floor-to-ceiling window, making the room feel larger. The breakfast had good-quality products.

Great location, we were able to walk everywhere within about 20-25 minutes and take in all the beautiful scenery and architecture. But there was also public transport directly outside. The facilities and amenities were perfect, clean and comfortable. Despite it being -6 outside, our room was always warm and we were able to adjust the temperature to our needs. We were originally concerned regarding the bathroom however, the toilet is completely separate and it is only the bath/shower and sink that are separated by a thin sheen curtain. Bonus - the bath was big and spacious, just what I needed after a long day of exploring!
