Nothing really a good budget hotel.

Easy to find it is near the metro station. A good clean pleasant, if a little dated hotel. Good breakfast, but I was early.

We would have liked a small fridge in the room.

Everything was just fine. We liked most: - the nearest underground station only 200 m far, - no further taxes for parking our car in the back, - good breakfast.

    1. An old stinky old fashioned room lacking air-condition and window in bathroom. 2. Everything related to breakfast, i.e. the quality, the amount, the choices, the serving style, the serving woman etc!! Breakfast from 7 to 10 and already at 9 everything was finished and nothing was replaced even if when you ask for! 3. It was impossible to get the correct temperature with shower mixture, either too hot or too cold! 4. A Russian hotel only made for Russians! No English speaking. 5. The cleaning lady starting at 7 a.m at weekend, making so much noise in the corridor that it was impossible to sleep from 7 a.m! 6. Loud corridor even during the night. So if you are a light sleeper, this hotel is definitely the worse choice! 7. No fridge 8. The last, the price for such a hotel is way too expensive!

Awesome Location! That's the only thing to like!

The furniture is a bit old, but since the room was very clean it didn't really bother us. A bit far from the center. Breakfast was modest, but decent for a small hotel.

We faced problem with water - water was cold and we were able to turn on the heater only by opening faucet and shower simultaneously (staff promised to fix this). It was the only small problem.

Hotel is located in very quite district just 10 min walk from metro station. Hotel offered parking slot that for me was important. Room is big enough and has required facilities to minimum standard, good and comfortable bed. Staff (German and Russian speaking) is very friendly. Breakfast is basic (eggs, sausages, cheese, various sorts of muesli, jam, tea and instant coffee), but it is absolutely Ok for that price.

Most of the staff doesn't speak English. No normally working lamps. No "do not disturb" sign, which is much needed if you prefer to get some privacy instead of unnecessary cleaning. The wifi was not so good. Expired butter for breakfast.

Good location, close to the underground and shops. Nice breakfast (unless you come at 9:45 when there's almost nothing left). The radio in the room was a nice extra.

The tankless water heater gave me a headache, the first night it took me ages to adjust the temperature which went from scalding hot to freezing cold. The room seemed a bit cold at times, but since I usually came in late after walking in the cold, it's possible it's just my subjective impression at the time.

The bed was huge and comfortable, the room and the bathroom were impeccably clean. The location is great, there are 3 metro stations within 5-10 min. The area is quiet and nice, there is a bakery and a drugstore very nearby, as well as many cafes. The hotel itself is very quiet as the street isn't too busy.

The general vibe and decor are pretty depressing, particularly the main corridor which is permanently in darkness. There was intermittent loud buzzing in my room in the evenings which seemed to be triggered by the bathroom light but made it difficult to sleep at times. The bed linen smelt of stale smoke and was pretty unpleasant. The wi-fi was really poor.

Good location in lovely neighbourhood within close proximity to metro. Good sized room with desk and tv and a nice little terrace I sat out on in the evenings.

There was no French bed, only 2 small ones which we had to put together ourselves, even though we ordered big bed on booking. The staff was rather cold and unpleasant. Breakfast was the same every day, no changes. The drain was smelling, so the whole room was filled with odor from bathroom. No fridge in the room and no A/C. The hotel, if we can call the place as such, was in a very outdated state, nothing was changed there for years. The building is actually an Appartement building. Reception and entrance are two different areas. All in all, nothing to recommend!

There is nothing what I really dislike. However as in most hotels in Berlin breakfast starts quiet late 7.00 h on weekdays and 8.00 h on Sundays. Let them know in advance if you arrive after 21.00 h as the reception will be closed after that time

It´s a small hotel located in a nice and relaxed neighborhood with shops, cafes and restaurants. The Western centre (Kurfürstendamm & train station Zoologischer Garten ) of Berlin is just two metro stations away. The rooms coming in different size, but still comfortable and with facilities. Nothing. One thing - the location maybe not perfect for tourists who want to have it all near and stay at Alex, but it is still inside the Ringbahn and I , personally, prefer this location to central one where it is dirtier and more loud. So I cannot say it is a "disadvantage", actually

Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is very rich and delicious, coffee is great and everything is served nicely, does not matter if you come for breakfast at 7 or at 09.45. Rooms are spacious, clean, well furnished. I even had a very nice balcony! The area is very calm and safe, only 10 min to Kudamm and 15 to Zoo. 1. Be attentive when choosing the room type(bed type), it's not enough to choose double room, you need to state it in the comments that you actually need the double - full bed and not twin otherwise by default they will give you twin 2. the bed wasn't much comfortable for 2 people, maybe we were too tall that the blankets didn't fit well us 3. The sound proof of the room doors is very poor, you can hear people talking or sneezing from the farthest corner of your room.

Location Is OK, a couple of minutes walk to the U-Bahn station that leads to Zoo where you can get in the bus 100 or 200 and take the sightseeing tour without a guide :) The street is very quiet so you won't be awaken by cars noise or any other noise. Only birds will nicely sing outside! In 2 minutes walk there is a small shopping center with the supermarket and some places to eat. There is an umbrella at the reception in case of rain - it helped us :)

Room for single i got, is relativly small. even if you are one travler, i would recommand book a room for couple. Check up in advance - not all rooms have a bathtab (i got a shower) nor every room got a porch as you would might think from their photos.
