Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe lack of Air conditioning. The streets were too noisy because of trams passing by. So could not sleep with window open. There is fan in the room, but closed windows were not comfortable
The great reception service. Very cheerful and helpful. Clean place. Good sized rooms. Breakfast was good. Bus an tram stops are right below.

SpainAlthough we requested a quiet room and were given one facing the courtyard (we’re light sleepers), there was still considerable noise from trams passing by, starting early in the morning. I imagine this is hard to avoid in Munich’s city center. Bring your earplugs! 😊
Modern, spacious room, well connected to the main station and Munich’s main attractions. We had a small fridge, and they kindly provided a kettle at reception — much appreciated!

FinlandNo air-conditioning, which meant that we had to sleep with the window open. Prepare to bring ear plugs because the hotel is on a very noisy street. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.
Perfect location with excellent public transport connections. Good, clean hotel and friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay.

United KingdomThe couple of days I stayed was really hot, even with the fans going it was a bit too much and this is the tail end of summer. It would be nice if air conditioning was an option.
Great location, close to the central location. Lovely staff, very welcoming and helpful. Haribo on the bed was a nice touch! :)

CanadaRoom was quite warm though the fan and balcony window/door opens for effective cooling. Our friends had a room facing the street and with the window open it was so noisy they had a terrible sleep.
There were 2 hooks beside shower for clothes and easy access for towel. Lights on both sides of bed.

LithuaniaWhen trams start early in the morning, you will feel the vibration. they don't go very often, though, and it's quiet during the night hours. I stayed in another hotel in the area around the Central Station, and it's the same.
Central location, light and cosy facilities, pretty good breakfast, very comfy bed, very helpful staff, and the room was also very quiet - as long as the trams were not passing by.

This hotel was very very clean and modern. It is an easy walk from the train station, or it is almost directly across from the tramline 1 stop from train station. A great value for its location.

United KingdomThe room was hot. There was a side window and a skylight window which could be opened and only a fan on a stand to push some air around (which I had on maximum all night and had to wear earplugs) so I found it very hot on 2 of the 3 nights. Trams often rumble by so if you’re a light sleeper, like me, it wouldn’t be the best choice on hot nights. Otherwise it was very nice.
The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the main railway station and felt safe to me. It’s about the same walk to Marienplatz. The staff were very nice & friendly and allowed me to store my bag prior to the check-in time, which allowed me to explore the city. The room was clean and the facilities were fine for a 3 night stay. The corner shower in the bathroom, whilst ok for me, would be too small for a larger person. I was in the roof space on the third floor which was very hot . I didn’t have breakfast (at €18 per time) as I preferred just a coffee and pastry at a nearby coffee shop. The hotel was good value compared to many major cities (especially Zurich!)
