It's a shame the Hotel Reception closes at 8pm and that there is no bar area. Using 11 digit codes to gain access after 8pm is a bit of a nuisance!

The location is perfect, 5 min walk from Marktplatz, less than 20 min walk from the train station. Great restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is really nice, the rooms are simple but clean and nice.

The location was superb! Very close to Karl-Marx Haus and not much further from the Porta Nigra. Connectivity from the hotel's position to different parts of the cities is also quite convenient. The market district is close too.

The staff were very helpful. There was no fridge but my mom is diabetic and needed to keep her medication refrigerated so they did so for us and provided it when needed. Location was within walking distance to markets and sights.

The location is perfect. Being on the pedestrian zone and not having to worry about transportation makes this an outstanding location.

The room is quiet, it's in a terrific location. Staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel is within walking distance to Porta Nigra, the Amphitheater and the Kaiserthermen, as well as many many restaurants. Depending on how much you're carrying, the train station is a leisurely 10-15 minute walk.

The new digital keypad entry system for the rooms needs work. The street door works fine but while the room keypad functioned well all day, at ten at night, stone cold sober, it wouldn't let us in the room - and we tried repeatedly. (It didn't help that the corridor lighting didn't come on.) My guess is that if you fluff the code once or twice, it shuts down and you have to wait for it to reset - it eventually worked after a ten minutes wait, no explanation. So be VERY exact. No kettle, we British need tea in the morning!

Clean, comfortable, VERY central, with helpful staff, charming owner, good breakfast and basement parking. Our room was well lit, quiet and with a lift to the top floor. All good.

We always find it frustrating to have to pay for parking - especially when the parking is within the grounds of the hotel itself.

The location of the hotel was excellent for pedestrian access to all the local historic sites, pedestrian precinct, pubs and restaurants Breakfast was of a good quality with a lot of variety.

The keyless entry is more confusing than convenient.

The hotel is located outside of the Hauptmarkt but close enough to everything. The arrangement of the hotel rooms is a bit odd, with lots of ups and downs, perhaps due to the connection of two buildings. The interior of the room reflects this unusually arrangement. But, overall it is quite comfortable.

The hotel location is very good, just in the centre of the city. We also booked breakfast that was available to reserve on the website. The hotel also has a garage that for a little fee we could park our car. Make sure you reserve in advance.

Like almost all hotels that I visit, the shower is a bit small (I am 1,96 m) to move around. I always bang my elbows against something.... And it seems like every hotel I visit has a shower head issue :-)

Although the room was not big, it was clean and very tidy. Beds are firm and clean. The staff was perfect and very friendly and welcoming.
