I stayed for one night on the way to the ski resort. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and relatively quiet. Good breakfast. Very large parking lot. Close to the highway. There is a gas station right next to the hotel

A room when I came in smelled nicotine. I raised the problem because opening a window didn't help. A nice lady from reception tried to change the room but they were reserved. Air refresher helped for some minutes only ...

The bed was not very comfy, the matress had a hole. I was unlucky with that because the bed with my other 4 colleagues was perfect.

Very bizarre incident regards payment - I pre-paid for the room via Booking but upon checking in receptionist said that I need to pay again and that booking.com has only "reserved" the money but I need to pay directly to the hotel. After 13 hours of driving I desperately wanted to get in the room so just paid the amount and went to investigate the issue in my room. I looked through emails, booking.com app and my bank and it was clear that I had indeed paid for the room already and didn't have to give anything else. So I went down to reception to argue my case, at first the receptionist didn't want to listen, I had to insist that she looks at all the evidence that I had already paid for the room. She persevered saying that booking.com hasn't paid them yet and that I need to get in touch with booking.com and ask for a refund myself...I have used booking for years and never have encountered something like this, either you pre-pay or pay at the hotel, there is no in between. Bizarrely after looking through our booking she finally then said "okay we will ask booking.com to pay us". She then said she cannot use the card machine to give back money, we could do it in the morning or she can give back the amount in cash. We asked for the cash, and looks like it was the right decision. In the morning the gates to reception were locked up, albeit there was somebody behind the desk, he didn't speak English, so I doubt we would have been able to argue that we have paid twice and need a refund...Perhaps the staff needs training on booking.com payment system.

Breakfast was ok, but not very interesting. We arrived at 21.00, and it was impossible to have anything to eat at the hotel and in the town. So We had to drive to Halle. Receptionist could not help us and didn’t speak English.

Nice and clean. Very basic, but cheap and great for one night on the way through Germany. Close to the autobahn so very convenient.

Carpet in the room had spots of grime on. No Aircon, but a good price

Carpet was dirty, wash is needed. I had room from the side of motorway, it was impossible for me to sleep with open window. It was fine when window was closed. For me hotel looks like typical place for workers. On the photos looks much better than in reality.

Conveniently located and good value for an overnight stay. Close to the motorway yet very quiet. Very clean, lovely substantial breakfast and quietly efficient staff. If you have time to spare the hotel is within walking distance to a decent shopping outlet.

Breakfast theoretically good. however staff don't fulfill empty plates . As the result no tomatoes, ham and natural yoghurt. . No way to order soft or fried eggs..
