Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The parking was paid, a detail not clearly specified during the booking process.
The location is superb, right in the heart of the city, making it an ideal spot for shopping and dining. Additionally, the breakfast offered was delightful.

2 single beds rolled together to make a double but they weren’t secured so kept splitting apart. Thin pillows. 2 single duvet’s rather than one double, No safe, tea or coffee making facilities, no fan in the room. Heard others got complimentary ear plugs cos of the noise, we did not. Coffee machine was available down stairs in evening but removed for the mornings.
The location is amazing. Could not wish for a better location. Large bathroom.

Be ready to come to breakfast earlier. I came there at 9.30 and there was not much left.

I was placed in a sister hotel across the street from the main hotel, which was odd at first but ended up being ok. More notice would have been nice.

WiFi connection was extremely poor. I had to open the room door ajar to get connected. But even then, it constantly dropped out until I finally gave up. Maybe it has to do with the room being at the top floor and poor WiFi signal there.
Convenient location right at the city center. Friendly staff. Parking available for 16 euro/night and they could let me keep my car there until the next day afternoon which saved me a hassle of finding and paying for another parking on the next day (even after I checked out).

Waited for 15 mins at checkin, no one at reception, kept calling also, receptionost came after 15 mins, when I was thinking hotel was closed. He could have left a note at desk saying he would be back

1. Called to reserve a parking lot in the garage and get the confirmation by phone. When I arrived was the garage full! 2. Staff not able at evening (7:30pm) to print the invoice.

The staff was not as friendly as it could be, and the service could be a bit more professional (especially by avoiding allocating already used rooms or addressing any problems quickly). The price of the parking should be communicated beforehand as well.

1. The water in the shower accumulated super fast and they really need to repair it because even though I didn't shower with huge amount of water, it's like a swimming pool. 2. The bed is quite soft and lack of support, so I experienced slightly discomfort after two-day stay there. 3. The smoke detector on the ceiling regularly flashed with a very bright light like the blitz when I turned off everything for sleep. it's really not a good design.
The single room is spacious and the bathroom is way too big for one person. It's very quiet in the night and the wall seems pretty thick because I didn't hear any sound from other guests.

There is no fridge in the room. We asked put our vacum cheese which we bought it in France to their fridge at reception and they told us you can get it after check out however check out day our artisan chesee was missing in the fridge under reception counter. Another receptionist did not help us to find it. Just keep saying there is no cheese here and I don’t know. The fridge was empthy. We were shocked. So we paid 60 EUR for cheese as gift and hotel did not take any responsibility and no apology. We left hotel with questions in our mind.
it’s very central and easy to reach all historical places. The rooms are big enough and great breakfast in buffet. Kevin was helpful.
