No elevator. It's difficult for a 70 year old person negotiating the stairs. Rooms with slanted ceiling creates a liability of head injure by standing up during the night. The description of the hotel doesn't mention any of the above information. Basically it was a misrepresentation.

Dinner was enjoyable, and reasonably priced, though the waitstaff regularly forgot to bring us various requests (beer, bread, water, etc.). While we did order 3 courses (but split soups and dessert), I think 3 hours for dinner was a bit long. Overall we liked it, but I just felt that 150/night was a bit expensive, as we've been to similar places in Germany for less. But, if we were in the area again, we'd stay there.

This hotel is in one of the prettiest settings I've found-- the view from the rooms and the dining terrace are spectacular. And, in the hot summer months, the sun sets behind it, so the terrace remains cool. The pool and spa area were particularly enjoyable (though some of the jets were not working), and once again, you could lounge in the sun or the shade, depending on which side of the building you were on. The rooms were nice, the breakfast plentiful, and the staff friendly. View from the deck was lovely, kids enjoyed the pool.

It was a perfectly pleasant stay but we lashed out at the end of a 2 week family holiday to stay there in an apartment and were underwhelmed by the quality and decor. The so called apartment for 4 adults still saw the kids on a sofa bed in the lounge so we had nowhere to sit (but outside) after they went to bed. It felt more like a 3 star motel inside the room. Other facilities were nice, the deck for dining was great. That evening with 2 young kids we waited close to an hour for dinner without even being offered some bread or something, and more than 20 mins just to be served the water we ordered (and payed 10 euro for). To me that's not good enough for what we payed. And when my pork dish came out it was missing the pork!! A lovely venue but not worth the spend.

View from the deck was lovely, kids enjoyed the pool.
