We thought someone was going to be there but it was soon resolved with a phone call. There wasn't any soap so bring some with you or buy some when you're there

There’s nothing that I dislike, just little things like too much light streaming in the morning through the blinds. More so now when the sun rises so early, so we just where woken up a lot. A way of changing the TV to different languages would be great. A little fire stick would do the trick! And just a toaster :)

Property was very cozy, with good space, light and it was great to have a balcony. the location is fantastic, easy to explore all parts of Berlin. The neighbourhood is very lively with loads with loads of restaurants, cafes and shops. Great experience!

Cons: -Thin apartment door - gets really noisy when people are coming in or going out, but most of the time pretty quiet; -Lack of extra toilet paper, cleaning sponge, but we probably just didn't find it and didn't have time to search for those; -The TV is a bit old, meaning - not smart, so no Netflix or anything similar, although there was literally no time to watch TV - so much to see and discover in Berlin!

Pros: -Owner Markus - communicative and very friendly! -Location - a bit further away from the center in a multicultural district with many great fast food stops, coffee shops and grocery stores and only 15-20 minutes away from the center by U-bahn (U2). -Everything about the apartment - cosy, spacious, clean and well equipped; -Balcony with a table and two chairs - perfect for a morning coffee and a quick smoke before exploring Berlin; -Loved it and would stay here the next time!

It was all good, but the isolation is not the best. We could hear our neighbor snore at night.

Perfect location, nice balcony, great room and cooking facilities. The owner was very communicative and there were a lot of great restaurants around, plus the metro station is a 2-minute walk so you can reach all parts of the city easily. Apartment seemed to be renovated and looked better than the pictures.

It's sad to say this, because the host was very nice to us and the location was incredible to explore Berlin, but I would have not booked this apartment if I had more time and money. It was disgustingly dirty: there was a bag full of trash hanging from a knob at our arrival; the shower was completely covered with mold; all the tableware had leftover food; there were a lot of tiny fruit flies and other bugs in the bathroom (although it's a 4th floor); the balcony was green and black from all the accumulated dirt throughout the years; and all the apartment in general smelled horrible. On the other hand, the beds were really uncomfortable and they didn't smell cleaned. And also, there were not any cleaning items but there was a sign telling us to wash the dishes, so we had to buy a scourer ourselves.

The apartment exceeded expectations, it is much better than what is seen in the pics, they should be updated, it was very clean, it is spacious, a well-equipped kitchen, a large bed and the host is very friendly, I would definitely return, 10/10
