Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

We arrived in a bingo night, nowhere to park and no chance of really eating in the restaurant, which was a shame. But a great taverna 100 yards down the road(food there was amazing).
Excellent location for our trip. Nicely refurbished.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. The skylight would really benefit from some shades, especially when traveling with kids.
Lovely garden, great breakfast, very friendly and accommodating staff that went above and beyond.

No aircondition in the rooms and we couldn't open the windows as there were many mosquitos coming in. The cleaning standard was below what is to be expected. Surfaces were sticky and we had to wipe everything off with alcohol wipes. The rooms are not sound proofed at all. This was not due to the hotel, but at 4am a mobile phone alarm started vibrating upstairs and it kept doing so for 3 hours without the owner noticing. That pretty much spoiled our sleep. The pillows are extremely large and not very comfortable.
We had a family appartment with plenty of space. Bathroom was completely newly refurbished. Breakfast is really good.

The matresses are little bit too soft for comfortable sleep but we're just used to something different. Unfortunately, the kitchenette was in quite a disorder this time.
It was our third time at this place. The personnel is very friendly and willing to help, the location is quiet, the rooms clean and neat. And yes, the breakfast!

An excellent option for those enjoying a quiet place away from the hustle and the bustle of the city.Despite the distance from de city centre the 150 bus enables visitors to access it in a convenient way.I would recommend Bundt’s Hotel for a nice summer holiday.The good accommodation and breakfast along with the relaxing surroundings are among the reasons why you should do that.

The location is great for Airbus Finkenwerder Airport, 20 minute walk to the Spotterplatz, its in a quiet location in a little village.

Unfortunately there was no airco in the room. Shouldn't be a problem on most days but when I was there it was very hot.

There are two head lamps at the top of the bed that is dangerous for your head. Should be put away with 40-50 cm to each directons.
Nice, quiet location. Good price-value ratio. Breakfast is nice and tasty.

Just one small thing - I would have liked to have had coffee and tea making facilities in our room.
All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and the evening meals and cakes were very good too. It is in a peaceful location but with great public transport connections. we enjoyed sitting in the garden in the sunshine.
