The moisturizer was open, used and almost empty; when it was finished i threw it away but and it was not replaced with a new one.

Nice spacious room with excellent heating, great breakfast and dinner.

The worst WIFI ever please do not write free wifi when the speed is not even enough to open your e-mail I had to use all my year reserve from Roaming The Lady on the Reception I think her name start with K was very not professional and her attitude is aggressive and does not belong the Hospitality of a Hotel. The payment system of reservation than paying find it wired. I asked the receptionist to pay all in advance but he refused.

From outside its a very Beautiful Castle and Heritage, The Man in the Reception was very professionale and a very nice host

    Nothing

The staff was excellent. Very helpful finding 2 rooms close together with minimal stairs...I had a broken leg and a third castle room for my sister. Even though we couldn't be in the actual castle, the rooms were very nice. Spacious, by European standards, and modern. My sister's room in the castle was even nicer. The hotel and restaurant have a great atmosphere. You feel like you are in a castle. Breakfast was great.

A lot of atmosphere. Really nice rooms, not in the castle but in a modern sidewing. Extremely helpfull, serviceminded and friendly staff. Nice restaurant and nice terrasse with a great view. Take your time and walk to the old castle, a nice experience. A great stop-over.

The service in the restaurant was, at best, surly - the food was okay, but nothing special - the service level is the reason why the rating for staff is lower than it should be - the whole place seemed to be a bit 'run-down' and in need of a good makeover

The hotel is in a castle and it is really quirky - in a good sense - the breakfast was excellent and so too was the person who served it - in addition the receptionist with whom we paid the bill was very friendly and efficient

The furniture was in need of replacement. Rather shabby, albeit clean. In need of an overall minor refurbishment.ing

Don't be a nit-picker :) if you like the place then just stick with that.

This turned out to be an outstanding property to stay at. The view is fantastic and it is comfortable and enjoyable. The room was a little bit smaller than normal but all the other amenities made it a terrific value in a terrific place to stay. I highly recommended.

The village of Staufenberg was not very interesting.

Quirky castle hotel within easy reach of main motorways. Very friendly helpful staff. The room was comfortable with great views. The meal in the restaurant was absolutely excellent and the waiter extremely helpful.

Unfortunately we didn't get to stay in the castle itself but in the more recent add-on. The room was a bit outdated, it had vinyl on the floor and the bathroom was snug. It was proper and clean though.

Really nice hotel in an old castle. Nice beds, beautiful views from the room. When you exit the hotel and walk a little up the hill, you find the old castle, which is still accessible. The restaurant in the cellar is absolutely superb and breakfast was really nic.
