Our bedroom didn't have air-conditioning. It was very warm and the temperature was not very pleasant to have a good night rest. We left the window open all night but it was not enough to cool down the room.

The Hotel surroundings are wonderful and the area is very quiet.

Mattress created a hole and you were stuck in it for the night. No tea/coffee in the room and no coffee delivered to the room. Please make sure there is enough toilet paper for 2 people when booking for 2. Had to run downstairs to get a roll in the evening as they only gave you 1 to 0.5 of a roll per day.

    Great location to access grandparents

This hotel is in a quiet little town. Very quaint and welcoming! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. We did have one problem which was resolved quickly. The heat was not working properly in our room and we were immediately moved and upgraded. The heat worked fine elsewhere in the building. Breakfast was good and the food was very fresh.

There were muslin type curtains in our room. Understandable given the view, but I woke at dawn and it was so light I wasn't able to get back to sleep. Better to have blackout blinds as an option.

Clean hotel in a gorgeous location not far from Koblenz. The restaurant next door really made it for us. Great food and excellent value. Friendly, efficient check in. Would return and recommend this place.

We missed the line about the restaurant not being open on Mondays. However, the staff immediately offered to put us together a very nice soup and salad which was very much appreciated after a long drive.

Superb location. It snowed overnight and the village was so beautiful in the morning. The walk up to the castle gave some superb views.

Sound of the stream from our bedroom. Nuthatch, dippers and herons in view from hotel. Good long forest and country walks. Deer and wild boar. Very good 'Country food' nearby. Try the game. Whisky galore (about 50) in the hotel for whisky lovers.

Bed in friends room was broken and when staff advised about this no attempt was made to fix it for the duration of stay. Not very good customer service as they should have let them change room if no one was available to fix the bed, 2 very uncomfortable nights sleep is not ideal when you have a 9 hour drive the next day

comfortable and friendly staff, good food, reasonably priced drinks in bar, beautiful location.

Location was in a very small town, next to an 700 year old gasthouse with restaurant, a creek running next to the property, and a centuries old burg ruins on top of a hill. Staff was very helpful, very accommodating, and always had a smile. Breakfast was plentiful, a good selection, and the room very clean and tables set up with table clothes, dishes and silverware. Wonderful appearance.
