Hamburg station area has a problem with drug addicts. The hotel was a short 10 minute walk from the station and once inside felt safe as the front door was promptly locked.

The hotel was very nicely decorated and had good facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Free coffee & tea making facilities in the lounge available.

The breakfast lady either has memory issue or testing us for fun- asked us three times separately for our room number (one time to my husband and one time to me when my husband went to pick food and later one time again to my husband)....Zzzzzz and spoke friendlier & happily with Spanish speaking guests....

About 10 mins walk from the train station. Quiet room. From the train station to the hotel - busy, bustling street , full of people, activities, especially kebab shops/restaurants, halal meat/food shops all the way. If you like kebab, heaven. lol lol

Lovely room in a traditional hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in recommending public transport options to get around the city as well as what would be best to see. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the station which was great and proved to be a very cosmopolitan area.

The streets from the train station to the hotel gave me an unsafe feeling. There were many beggers, homeless people, and drunks around. It was scary to walk around the hotel.

Staff were friendly. The room was big and nice (3m tall ceiling).

The area around the hotel is known for its homeless people, but we weren't bothered by them.

The general standard is not particularily modern but rather worn, in the morning there were quite some noice from the street with traffic.

Nice and comfortable mid standard hotel very close to the train and bus station, making it ideal for a stopover when in transit / in Hamburg for just one night. Even though the area around the bus / train station is noisy and not safe, this street was quiet and felt like a good hideout from the surrounding area.

The street scene is a little off putting due to guys hanging out on the street, trash lying around. Depending on your room, stairs to climb. No AC, an issue on hot days.

Cozy, loved the old architecture, furnishings, room design. Excellent beds, windows that block noise. Wonderful staff, great breakfast.
