Some people were weird haha but thats what a lowcost hostel attracts sometimes.

I felt very insecure. The first room I visited was full of smoke and suspicious-looking people. The other room was fine, but it still got a lot of cigarette smell from outside of the windows. I am unfamiliar to the city, so I do not know I chose a neighbourhood with a lot of drug business going on. And - as it was written many times - it gets very loud. Do not forget your earplugs.

It was close to the event I wanted to attend, and the price helped me keep the trip within budget. And at least the first guy at the reception helped me a lot.

I have been travelling for 20+ years and and this is the second time I feel like at home. The staff is beyond amazing and friendly. I had several problems that were sorted in a sec. Great atmosphere, very comfy beds & rooms, everything super clean. If you want a superb place to stay in a central location with tons of restaurants & metro 1 min away, look no more, this your place! Thanks for everything! I will be back for sure

I recommend to the management of the Hostel to add also the option of 4-bed and 2-bed room

The facility is managed by very welcoming and friendly staff. They understand your needs and adapt to them. The position of the Hostel is strategic: in the heart of Kreuzberg (very famous and popular quarter of Berlin) and in front of Metropolitan Station. Bathrooms and rooms are cleaned Every day and the common places (kitchen, living room, terrace) are clean and confortable. Due to the low cost of the structure, various typology of people go there. However, everyone has been respectful to the others.

From the very beginning, it wasn’t pleasant having to carry our luggage three floors. Then, we did the check in and saw that the common space was a bit run down. The kitchen was always filthy and there was barely space to do the dishes. The toilets stank very badly, and it was common to find piss all over the floor. The hostel was also filled with dodgy people, who did no harm but loads of drugs instead. In one of the nights, we had random people entering to our room. Later on in our stay, it was recurrent for on of the receptionist to open the door without knocking first, just to check things with the lockers. Luckily I was staying with other friends and I didn’t feel so unsafe, but definitely, if you’re a solo traveler, avoid this hostel at all means.

The shower area was big and pretty clean. There were cleaners everyday.

The staff Youssef the person at the checking was very smiling welcoming and proposing help before we ask, I felt really at home thank you Youssef for your work and help of the first day and the other collègue I don't remember his name the second day when I did the checkout.

Very dirty. I stayed here years ago when the owners were different and the hostel was completely different. I felt unsafe staying here as a guest had his belongings stolen, the place was dirty, and a particular dodgy guest was arrested (there are some dodgy people staying here). The prices are way too high for what they offer. The hostel feels like a halfway house and there are a few people staying there who don’t feel like a traveller/backpacker vibe. I would avoid staying here at all costs as a female traveller. They also do not offer female only dorm rooms which seems odd.

Met some nice backpackers there.

It was dirty and things are falling apart. Though we booked 2 beds, one of them was taken after we returned from our activities in the city. Reception was already closed, so all beds in the room except for 1 although we booked 2 and the sheets were taken ... After we told this at the reception the next morning, we got an answer that he is not allowed to refund us for 1 bed. Complained through booking and email to no result. And we heard from another person there that overbooking happened there to another person too the night before! So SCAM!!!! ATTENTION 🥲 Just horrible. never experienced something like that.

The stairs between the main entrance of the entire building at the zero floor and the hostel door at the third floor were dirty. In addition, it was stinking. I suppose that the building manager is respondible for that.

Came home all bitten by bedbugs! Also the lockers didn’t work,I was afraid to leave belongings there. Big problems with cleaning, no soup in the washrooms.

Since I had to take a bunk bed, I was very disappointed by the ladder, as it hurt me a lot while climbing it. I would also appreciate having a socket and a privacy curtain near the bed, but those are just details.

This centrally located hostel is very good for a short stay in Berlin. I really loved that the check-in was from 13:00, which rarely happens. The kitchen and the shared spaces were very big and contained everything I needed. For the price that I paid, I think that this hostel offered me a great value.
