Old windows which couldnt be truly closed. Bed was really bad for me. And i think there was not enough toilets for all the rooms.

Location is really good. You have own keys so late arrive is no problem. The shower was in the room which was a bonus i did not count with.

Staff did not speak any English and put me in a room on first floor which looked nothing like the pics. Overpriced old outdated hotel charging because they can. My room was wirh private bathroom but nexr to the common shared bathroom nad main entrance so there was trafic all.night long. Walls are paper thin. A hostel would have been far better. Bed was hard and pillows were old feather with no structure. Elevatora start from 2nd floor.

Room I was in was very noisy.. loud music from 11pm till 4am.. other than that I cannot complain..

There is a bar or night club of sorts right beneath the hotel so there was a lot of bass transmitted through the walls of the old building. Luckily I was tired enough to get some sleep anyway. Might be better on working days.

The location is great and the very friendly staff were very welcoming. Even though the room and the furniture were a bit aged they were well maintained and in clean condition. Good value for money.

We did not get the double bed with sitting that we had booked. The bed is very low - 6inches off the floor. Difficult to get in and out of.

The walls are very thin, perhaps because it is an old hotel. I could hear whatever people were doing in the bedroom close to mine. And, I could also hear staff talking in the corridor early in the morning (before 8AM) as they were already working on cleaning the hotel and vacant bedrooms.

Front door locked - buzz for access, but if you're arriving late you appear to have to make a phone call for service. Reception on the second floor with no elevator access that I could see - so this is not for those with impaired mobility. No free Wi-Fi offered at check-in. Amiable lady on reception, but she spoke only German. En-suite shower, alright, but toilet facilities shared between 3 rooms. Several trip-hazards - including the shower unit which is elevated to a degree that you need to use a fixed wooden stepping stool to access it. I couldn't escape the feeling that this might be the sort of place that a Stasi or KGB operative might have (erm) "entertained" Harry Palmer back in the day!!!

Located on a main thoroughfare and just about 5 minutes walk from Savignyplatz S-Bahn station, the Hotel is well signed and easy to find. I chose this location purposely for the S-Bahn access which made it easy to travel to Max Schelling Halle for a concert. Quiet enough at night.

Hard to find parking, my family was packed in one room. No fridge or little kitchenette. Just beds and a toilet. Little rough outside, expect junkies at front entrance. It is noisy at nighr, but that didnt bother us as it stopped by midnight, the bars had closed.

Location, in the centre.Staff was very friendly and helpful even though english was limited.
