The restaurant menu choices were unbelievably limited, I am sure any decent chef would love to rustle up a lot more dishes than the paltry few on the menu here.

The Hafen area is rather out of center, but then again, this is something one knows about before booking a place in this area. Having said that, there is always a taxi stand outside and Uber is always available for going to the city center. The Restaurant (dinner) was good but I expected something better. Some hanging hooks in the room for jackets would be useful. :)

The general feeling was good as it was expected by a Marriott establishment. Big, comfortable room, big closets, friendly staff. The breakfast was great with a big variety/choices - hot & cold.

I couldn't get the AC in my room to agree with me - I like a colder room, so the room was constantly a little too warm for my liking. I wanted to use the sauna facilities, but I was not able to access it. I did not ask the staff about it though.

The location was pleasant, a relatively quiet area. The view from a higher floor was also nice. The staff was nice and did not (visibly) judge my very poor German - they also speak English of course. The room was nice and comfortable, and there was a possibility to make coffee and tea in the room. Decaf was also provided. The WiFi worked well.

I stayed there some months ago at a busy conference time and paid around Euros1000 for three nights and had an ugly view opposite a wall and fire exit - so just be aware when you book

The people, particularly at breakfast, where they seem to have a passion for giving you a good start to the day and have chefs on site to make omelettes etc. It was nice to have a reasonable rate at a relatively quiet time and a nice canal view.

Not much to dislike, it’s hard to justify the price when the whole city is above average in terms of hotel fares. It would have been nice to have the bathrobes for the sauna already in the room at check-in instead of having to ask for them at the reception. Our keycards stopped working an hour or so before our check-out time limit. It was all solved quickly by the staff. If there was something I would change about the room, it would be the chair, it really doesn’t do the rest of the room justice in terms of comfort and looks. I cannot judge the restaurant because the high prices made us look elsewhere right when we heard them. Maybe the food quality justifies the price (20+€ for breakfast for example) but I don’t have a way to know.

The location is good, half an hour away from the center but still close to the action. There is a great selection of restaurants and cafés nearby. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The room is clean and almost exceptionally cosy. We also always love having access to the gym (??) and the sauna so that’s definitely an added value.

The towels were quite small and of very poor quality, the person with long hair needs better towels - and bigger. The bathroom has just one means of light - very bright, which at night is quite disturbing. The glass table is not comfortable and could be even a bit dangerous at night. We were not inform about problems with parking space which was not available.

The place is very good, quite calm and at a walking distance to the city centre; the room is nice, breakfasts were very tasty and the big man preparing omlets - extremely nice! The idea of having water for free at the lobby area is perfect.

Some facilities in the room were not properly working. For example, the plug of a water drain hole in the bathtub was not working, so I had to remove it manually.

Helpful and friendly staff, both on the reception and in the restaurant. Nice quiet location, especially if you like to walk or jog. Very good breakfast.
