This was such a treat…the wonderful feeling of yesteryear quality and opulence, but with modern touches….a winning combination. Luxurious but not ‘stuffy’…..the staff were extremely professional and warm, the room was stunning, high quality bed and soft furnishings, scrupulously clean….a view of the castle from the pool! The breakfast was probably the best we have had. The property being family run made a huge difference from staying in a large/chain hotel. It was our daughter’s birthday and they paid special attention to this. Literally zero negatives.

Room was spacious for our family of three with plenty of privacy, loved having a second bathroom. All the old European charm was evident throughout the hotel and our room. Appreciated all the fresh flowers. Appreciated staffs attentiveness.

Very little could be improved on. The spa/pool is pretty small but not sure what they could do about that, and it was quiet and pleasant when we used it.

Very classy, old world but beautifully presented and run privately owned hotel. Room was beautiful and full of character, but very comfortable and immaculate. Staff are impeccable, owners are often around checking that 'alles ist in ordnung', breakfast really excellent.

Outstanding, no other words could describe our stay at the Hotel Europäischer Hof Heidelberg. From the room bed to the SPA, all hotem amenities, meals. location, attention from the hotel staff were outstanding.

We love everything about this little gem of a hotel. The decor is always beautiful but was made even more so with its holiday decorations that are elegant and distinctive. The staff is both competent and friendly and it's just always a wonderful experience to stay here. It's one of our reasons for visiting Heidelberg!

The room could’ve been cleaner. Dusts here and there. Accidentally found a blood like stain inside a pillow case as well. In the night the phone next the bed made some random noise somehow so I had to take out the line off and this interrupted my sleep. I had my dog staying with me and it could’ve been nicer if a dog bed or a bowl was prepared which is usually the case when hotel knows it upfront.

I had very relaxing day at this hotel and it felt really private comfortable as if I am in my home. They provided an upgrade so my room could face the courtyard, not street that was very nice and careful. I would definitely come back. The bed was super comfy with nice beddings and adjustable feature.

The Staff including the Director who is 4th Generation at the property, really takes the accommodation at the property very seriously. I had an issue with my stay and she reached out promptly to fix the issue and offer assistance.
