Really friendly staff and easy to get to Straßburg

The price you pay it is a correct one. It is clean and the staff is very nice. Cleaning was made in my room each day. The only aspect I did not like it was the smell in the room.

Finding the entrance & reception is a little confusing with the restaurant out front, and the owner of the restaurant doesn't seem too pleased to be connected to the hotel.

Clean and close to the train station, so really easy to get to Strasbourg. Free parking.

The Greek owner was very kind and friendly. The room was quite small but fine. The breakfast was in an wonderful place. Good value for the money.

THe lady in the breakfast room did not speak English, which brought to a little confusion. If the breakfast time is over (we did not have breakfast included), it is not possible to have any food or coffee in the morning at the hotel. There is a nice bakery in the central street, highly recommended.

it was a bit mess at check in as it happened that our room was taken by another guest by mistake, but we were given a lovely room, very spacious, quiet, nicely furnished, with a beautiful view to the church. The bathroom was ok, though a bit tired and the owners was planning to make renovations. Overall the hotel is fine, nice quiet place in autumn-winter season. It was very warm inside, we even didn't turn on the heating. Would be great to have a kettle in the room and more plugs.

The hotel is centrally located and easy to find. Close to the city center and to the tram that goes regularly to Brussels. Downstairs there’s a lively bar. The staff are welcoming and communicative.

Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. There was no heating in the room.

Great location. Very easy to access the tram to the center of Strasbourg so perfect to visit the Christmas market. Also very close to everything in Kehl. At night the bar inside the hotel has a very cool environment and atmosphere. Great hospitality. Private parking for free for guests.

We got one renovated room and one non renovated room. Unfortunately, I have to say the non renovated bathrooms were more practical while taking a shower!

Simple but cosy and comfortable hotel, right in the center of Kehl. Easy access to tram which reaches Strasbourg centre in 30 minutes. The hotel is easily accessible by car and has parking on the spot. The room was spacious and comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful and the restaurant/bar downstairs was a treat.

My room did not have a bedside table lamp but his is apparently being remedied after I mentioned it. There are no tea & coffee making facilities. Due to the wooden floors on the corridor and the thin door everything was audible from the common areas outside the room.

The location of the hotel is v good, opposite the Rosengarten park and not far from the tram and railway station. The room I had must have been refurbished relatively recently as it was in good order, furnishings were new, a nice picture on the wall, a little rug in front of the bed, bed was comfortable, bathroom well appointed. The breakfast room / evening bar is very cosy and open till late, worth dropping in for a drink or their goulash soup. There is no lift but the staircase is nice and wide.

Some noise disturbance during the night, but I suppose to be expected as it was a Friday night and people were having fun.

Pleased to have found this hotel right inside the heart of Kehl and near our favourite restuarant too. Bonus: easy parking.

Unfriendly boss. No "do not disturb" sign for the room resulting in being disturbed in the morning. After the disturbance no room service at all. High price. No warm water after the first night.

The hotel is "no smoking". But our room smelt heavily cold smoke!!!! Especially close to the window, and in the right side of the bed. Obviously, someone had smoked, and a lot, in this room. No carpet in the room, but I suspect it was the fabric the head and sides of the bed are covered with, that got impregnated. It made it very difficult for me to find sleep.

Location was fine, and the mattress and linen were comfortable.

First, we had trouble finding the hotel’s entrance. It seems there is an entrance from the side of the building, but we accessed the hotel through a pub/bar located at the back. Due to our flight schedule and airport procedures, we were at risk of missing the hotel’s check-in time. To avoid any issues, I sent a message to the hotel and did not receive a negative response. However, while on my way to the hotel, I was scolded by the hotel manager for this reason. Even though I arrived at the hotel at the specified time, I was still kept waiting for nearly half an hour to check in. When making the reservation, I specifically indicated the check-in time, and I still had the option to cancel within the following three days. If I had been informed that late check-in was not possible, I could have looked for alternative options that better suited my flight schedule. As a result, after an exhausting and stressful day, we were only able to reach our room after experiencing an unpleasant reception at the pub (despite being paying customers) and being reprimanded at the hotel.

The room allocated to us was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. It also had a rather small but charming balcony.

We came for 1 day and before the walk we forgot to turn on the heating batteries (they are turned off by default), when we returned the living room took a long time to heat up (the bathroom heated up quickly). But this is more our carelessness. So do not make such mistakes))

Everything is great. Great place. Great room. Great hotel owner. We liked everything. We didn't buy breakfast. The room is clean and comfortable. Very close to the train station and the Rhine embankment

Nothing! Except afterwards having clean sheets and bedroom.

The owner was extremely rude and impolite. He did not meet the polite standard required by a guest. He virtually shoved me into a messed up room which has been used the night before. Disappeared within a second and i was left there thinking what should i do. I had my own towel and had to lay down my clothes on the bed to lie down. Half an hour later he comes in and tells me he put me in the wrong room. I Ordered breakfast on mentioning i am gluten and lactose free he said he would get that sorted in the morning. When i arrived for breakfast he virtually shouted he could either give my money back but, he doesnt have any to provide for me. This we could have eliminated before i climbed back down and up a spiral staircase. I am not a sour grapes person but, I am in hospitality too and i do not treat people like that, I arrived tired at 10pm from a long trip and needed to be accommodated properly. I also did not have another choice other than get a taxi again and rebook etc. at that time would have been too late. He was rude about me arriving just before 10pm and actually looked at his watch even though 10pm is cut off time.
