    None that comes to mind

The location was perfect and the staff was so accommodating of all our needs. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was everything we had hope for. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family on any future trip to the beautiful town of Speyer.

The only negative was church bells at what seemed like 4,5 and 6 in the morning. Being close to the cathedral this is always a problem in Europe, but the quality of the hotel made up for any inconvenience.

Very happy with Hotel Domhof. Check in staff where pleasant. The room was outstanding, a spacious room with lots of charm and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, quality food with a wide choice.

Our room was located on the ground floor and was quiet. Breakfast was 9 euro per person and was tasty and excellent value for money. We made a reservation for the restaurant (Friday evening) and were happy about this, because the restaurant was fully booked. The beer garden is great. The homebrew beers are really nice. We spent one night in Speyer on our way to the Black Forest. It’s a nice place to walk around and has good riverside places too. If you have time, it’s nice to go up the tower of the Dom.

Its nothing negative, rather a good to know: there is underground parking available, but if you are coming with a big car it can be tricky to park but everyone is very helpful.

The hotel is right in the middle of the town, next to a brewery and pub, which makes it very convenient. All sights can be easily reached walking in Speyer.

Not really the hotel's fault, but please be aware that this is a Catholic area and the Cathedral bells chime throughout the night and ring the Angelus at 0600 for about 15 minutes.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful location next to the Romanesque Domkirke. Comfortable, clean, well managed. Friendly staff. Next door is the hotel's sister restaurant with classic, hearty cuisine and excellent beer from in-house brewery. Visited by many famous dignitaries.

Some of the staff do not speak english (not uncommn in Germany). It might have an indoor parking, I didn’t ask and it was not offered.

Fantastic location, historical building. Room facing the inner court hence quiet. Good breakfast with good quality products (though a tad expensive 12.5e per person including children). Restaurant in the building nearby with good selection of local dishes and own brewery

Morning staff was unable to accommodate an early checkout. They first blamed booking.com then admitted booking.com just follows the Domhof's early checkout policy. Very unfortunate as a business traveler - had to change my plans and will need to stay else where next time. Unfortunate for the Domhof as I frequently travel to Speyer for business.

Initial welcome by staff - didn't really feel welcome although friendliness improved as I visited reception during the stay and morning receptionist acted exactly as he should when we left. A smile means a lot after a long day in the road. Likewise, room far too hot. Yes it was a hot and humid evening yet the room became more stuffy than it needed. Opening up windows long before guests arrive might have helped.

    Lacking that warm, welcoming factor.

Speyer is a pretty important tourist area and I think the Domhof reflects that a bit. Business is a bit too easy. We wanted a secure underground car park as a top priority and the Domhof has got that for a reasonable 8 Euro. It was the first garage we encountered on our European tour with over 30% UK-registered cars in one place, so it's clearly popular as a 'motel'. Decor is of the typical middle-aged, chintzy, elasticated-waist band variety. Rooms are big and bathrooms titchy....We didn't do breakfast and unless you're a vast eater we'd save the dough and use the town's offerings....of which there are many. Hotel is very well located for the Domhof Brauerei next door: beer very good and food very decent, too. Can you recommend a hotel because of its garage ? You can: but if you're not so anxious about your 'pride & joy' there are other better value stop-offs.....I mean...like not coming to Speyer in the first place !

Have recommended this hotel & location to many friends and family (some of whom have stayed too) We like being able to park our car (usually loaded up) in the underground car park & breakfast presented in the "baronial type" hall is lovely. Nice quiet room, bed perfect. Very good food at the restaurant and at breakfast. And of course the beer from the in-house brewery

    All was good.

We have stayed here before and really like the hotel and its position. The restaurant/brewery next door is extremely good too.
