Only a customer who has booked through Booking.com and stayed at the property in question can write a review. This lets us know that our reviews come from real guests, like you. Who better to tell others about the free breakfast, friendly staff, or quiet room than someone who’s stayed at the property before?

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

눉1. As the room was some kind of attic - you should have been careful with ceiling :) I think we hit it a few times. 2. A bathroom was cool but there was no curtain. For me it's difficult to spread water to the floor - some uncomfortable feeling. 3. It was a conflict with a new Czech waiter. He was definitely drunk and was aggressive. My order, despite I showed in the menu (some ice-cream for me and kid), was done terribly - he brought completely different thing. So the last evening was a bit nervous. However administration tried to smooth out the incident and I would admit it. As I got it I was not the first with complaints regarding this guy.
눇Location is excellent. Bastei bridge is close to the hotel and königstein fortress is in 4 km distance. Nature and air were just amazing. Room was huge and with no neighbors that was relaxing as well. A woman on reception was very helpful - unfortunately I forgot her name :(

눉Reception staff could have shown a bit more interest upon check in. A minimum two night stay was required if you wanted to book via booking.com over the weekend. we would have considered an extra night if it wasn't for the two night restriction and with the hotel almost empty maybe not the best strategy.
눇Restaurant staff was fantastic, nice room and great wellness facilities.Dinner was really good breakfast was alright. Definitely recommended and would stay again.

눉It would have been nice to have had bikes we could rent on the property and not have to go 800 metres to rent some.
눇The location is excellent and the staff are very helpful. It's a place where you can really relax and we appreciated it after our bike trip on The Elbe.

눇It was very clean and easy accessible. Staff was very helpful and my room was big enough to feel home. Even from my room I was able to see the river Elbe. Not in front but is was great sitting on the balcony. In front of the hotel there were some benches to sit on and enjoy the view. I felt very welcomed. Best part if you could say so was the great breakfast buffet. You have plenty to choose from. You get your own coffee jug for your table and then you can enjoy all the varieties they offer. Definitely have to come back for more...

눉The staff could comunicarem a little better when we first check in by telling some informations about the restaurant, sauna, swimming pool, breakfast without having to be asked for it. And the internet kept crashing from time to time.

눇A beautiful property at a unique location. Love that you cannot access by car. Staff were very kind and accommodating as I was on crutches; picked my husband and I up with electric car, and then also delivered us back to our parked car. Very nice spa facilities with steam, sauna and pool. Delicious breakfast with endless choices. Perfect location to venture off and enjoy amazing trails in the national park (well, my husband enjoyed those!). I enjoyed the cobblestone path in front of the hotel and benches to soak in surrounding views.

눉They gave us a super small room, at the black corner of the first floor, from window you could see very ugly dirty corner,2 people cannot pass each other at the same time, kind of feel they gives the worst room to Booking.com travelers; The room is always quite humid and have bad smell for some reason (probably too close to the pool); Bathroom only has a bathtub, with a wet feet I always fell because the bottom of the bathtub is not even, will be very dangerous for older people; They have a swimming pool but not really a wellness, the water is around 27 degree, if you want to enjoy a relaxed evening wellness bath, this is not what you will like, water is too cold, you have to swim to keep you warm; Before we arrived, we called 10 times from other side of the river, nobody answered the phone call, when we arrived, we do not feel surprised, because we almost never see people in the reception when we passed by; Wifi is NOT available in the room; there is no hot water cooker or tea cups in the room, you have to either bring your own water or buy from their bar; Hotel guests are advised to park the car on the other side of the river, it is quite a walk from the deck to the hotel if you have several luggage which is our case; The food in the restaurant have good taste but you have to order full menu because they serve not much food for each plate; we booked 20 hotels for this trip, this one is the most expensive one but the worst experience ever, it is not 4 stars at all in our opinion. not recommend!
눇Location of the hotel is right in front of the Elbe river, quite beautiful view, it is quite close to Bastai, on foot 30mins.

눉Take notice of the hotel instructions regarding parking. Our GPS took us to wrong side of the river, but hotel was great at helping us out with alternative parking.

눇Location was overlooking the river. Rooms were very clean and a good size. Spa and pool area were clean and in very good condition. You parked on the other side of the river and took a ferry to the hotel. Parking was paid by the hotel

눇Everything was perfect and it felt like getting to another world when reaching the hotel by ferry. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast overlooking the river.Afterwards we walked to the 'Bastei', truly magnificent rock formations!
