The room we were given was by the main street and we were struggling to sleep at night because of sound pollution.

The location was great for us. The staff were friendly and helpful.

but there is a restaurant in EG, I live in 1 floor, every night I was disrupted by the noise which made by the guest, when they finish eating, they will chat at the door outside the restaurant, they don't know how noisy they are.

I could hear the television from the neighbouring room. No decaffeinated coffee was offered.

For breakfast a hugh variaty of food was offered. The room was not too small. The hotel has an underground carpark, which is quite narrow but okay. Next to the hotel there is a nice Bavarian restaurant.

This hotel just a little out of town, southwest side, was perfect for a lower price than in Munich proper. It was a quiet neighborhood with several little shops/a drugstore, etc., nearby. The walk to the Metro, U6 at Grosshadern was a block away and it was a direct ride into the Marien Platz ... maybe 7 stops but no transfer. Next door to the hotel is a fabulous German restaurant that offers garden seating (it was a little too chilly for us in early October), but inside, it was always warm and friendly. We ate dinner there twice and the food was really good and didn't break the pocketbook. Clean, German ambiance but no white tablecloths ... locals eat there. Recommend this restaurant. Overall, the hotel was fabulous with a friendly staff who were able to answer our questions. We paid for the breakfast to save time and the choices were varied and complete with continental type foods but also hot foods were available. There weren't too many tables for breakfast, but we managed. I would definitely stay here again to avoid the noise and crowds of Old Town.

There is no double bed in any of the studio rooms. They didn’t clean the floor of the room, I had to ask the cleaner to vacuum when I spilled some sugar. The floors were not carpeted so my feet and socks were mostly dirty. They didn’t wipe tables or the kitchen through out my 5days stay. There is no coffee or tea in the rooms , you had to go to reception downstairs which close after 8pm.

It was near to the exam centre. The studio room was big, and had 2 fans and all kitchen requirements. The bed sheets were clean along with the bathroom. The breakfast was variable options. Staff are very nice in general.

The bathroom sink plunger did not work. There is no AC in the room. There was lots of construction happening nearby the hotel during our stay which created excess noise.

The hotel is located close to the U-bahn station and nearby a number of good local restaurants, beer gardens, and bakeries. The room was spacious and comfortable. The price was fantastic considering we stayed during Oktoberfest.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. They realised we were given wrong room by mistake and took excellent care to ensure this was corrected and gave us upgraded room. The hotel was also very close to city centre with convenient transport link.

Very close to the Oktoberfest grounds. Easy walk. Close to the underground lines. You could leave your key at the front desk if you were traveling in a group.

Do NOT take a room on the steet side! Very noisy all night long, traffic and passers bye and young adults pulling into next door gas station at 4 am to party!!!

Room needs deep cleaning (curtains, sofa pilows and some staf from the room and bathroom were dirty). Huge huuuge pilows. We travel a lot, but such a huge pilows I saw for the first time. It is very uncomfortable

the hotel seems to be understaffed. the same 2 ladies serve breakfast then clean the rooms. the room looked impeccable when we arrived. but my wife looked under the beds and found layers of dust. our room faced the main street and stupid idiots with race cars did some noise from time to time with their car engines. the hotel has no car parking. you basically park on the side of the street in front of the entrance. the breakfast was NOT "continental" for me and was NOT excellent. no croissant. first day there were no scrambled eggs. there were eggs on the second day. it appears they didn't refill the platters quite often on the first day. some of the clean plates were not so clean, you could see food left overs on them. the kitchen needs to rub them harder i guess. plates also smelled of eggs. the stupid ceiling lamps hanging too low, every guest in the room kept head-butting the lamps.

i like the duplex apartment and the location. Compared to the expensive atrocities in Salzburg, this hotel comes out as pretty good. but i've had much better hotels in Cologne for example, for lower prices. this hotel is a good option if you were in salzburg, and you'd like to save a buck by spending the night in munich on your way back from salzburg.
