Hotel offered a private parking space. Unfortunately some people abuse parking facilities and the hotel management can do nothing about it. When we returned to the hotel about 10 pm we could not find any space in the hotel parking because some idiot parked a huge van taking two spaces and other people parked disregarding space markings. Fortunately, the hotel manager eventually found for us a narrow space behind the hotel building. We were lucky that he still was on the premises. Otherwise, finding a parking spare in the night time in that specific area of the town would be a nightmare.

The room was comfortable. Beds and pillows were very good and clean. There was a kettle in the room and it was nice, All in all, the hotel Esprit experience for one night stay was very positive. The location was not bad, but in peak hours traffic in the street was a real challenge.

Do not be deceived by the locality.

The hotel is not in the more attractive part of Halle but the friendly staff and high quality of our room made up for the outside appearance. There is a tram outside the hotel but it is just a twenty minute to most attractions. We did appreciate tea making facilities in our room. Three euro parking across the road from the hotel.

Conveniently located close to the old and central market...

Horrible war-zone-like neighborhood, half demolished buildings, bricked up windows... Actually the whole town of Halle looks like it has been left behind after reunification, unlike many other former East German towns. No restaurants in the immediate proximity of the th hotel, apart from the small restaurant of the hotel, but when I got in people stopped chatting and started watching me, this sort of things, feeling like they're not ok with strangers. The room itself was ok, but the smell on the staircase was bad. My room was accessible only passing through a small and nasty smoking area for guests.

Conveniently located close to the old and central market square. Parking free and right in front of the hotel. Nicely furnished room with tea making facilities, clean and no bad odors.
