We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

DenmarkThe travelcod was not there when we arrived, but they fixed it and even brought treats/snacks for the kids as an apology. We are not used to rent these type of holiday flats in Germany, so we did not realise that we had to bring our own toiletpaper - luckily the local supermarket had a big variety of toiletpaper, so it was easily fixed.
We had gotten the impression that the hosts did not speak English, but they spoke English just fine. They were very kind - we had not understood that we had to bring cash for the payment, but they were large about it, and came back at another time. The flat was perfect for our needs and was close to everything we wanted to do.

LithuaniaThe information about apartment was not exact and misleading: It was indicated as small apartment with no mention that it was also the upper floor, attic room. The access stairs , in fact, were narrow wooden ladders impossible to carry a regular piece of luggage. There was no light in the courtyard for safe climbing the stairs and unlocking the door in the evening time. The wardrobe mentioned in the description, in fact, was open shelves space already fully occupied by the things of hosts: vaccum cleaner, etc. leaving just several hangers for a guest. The costs included € 60 Bed linens fee per stay, without its adjustment to the number of guests, as it was described in the "Important information" section: Guests may bring their own bed linen and towels or rent them at the accommodation for EUR 15 per person (for a set of both)." The deposit request from the hosts (80 eur) payment by paypal transfer before arrival, was an unexpected hidden cost, as the apartment was already prepaid via booking as a non-refundable reservation. It was especially unpleasant due to fact that the arrival was on Sunday, which was indicated as non-working hours of hosts with the mention, that the door code will not be provided without receiving deposit payment. The normal practice of paying city tax or deposit could more understandable after arrival. The hosts refused to issue an invoice for the stay with the note "privat dürfen wir keine Rechnungen ausstellen", which I have never experienced before.
The location is good, the view out of the window is nice.

GermanyOur Apartment is small but cozy. The location was near to everywhere (train station, supermarket, bus station). Everything is accessible within the area. The owner was very accommodating and makes sure that their guest was comfortable during their stay. I was thankful that even a very small request they granted it to me. The service was superb and I would highly recommend the place to stay.
