An excellent hotel with attentive and welcoming staff. Great stop over location from UK to Sweden in a relaxing environment. The restaurant provides great locally sourced and seasonal food and is always busy with locals so make sure to book a table. Breakfast is a wonderful smorgasbord of different items and sets you up for the day. Quiet village roads are also excellent for walking the dogs.

The hotel guests together with the restaurant guests were difficult to fit the tiny parking area. We were always able to find a parking space, but a bit off the limits, as the regular parking lots were always busy. The breakfast is traditional German - vegans would have hard time finding something suitable for them. There was an issue with one of the radiators in our room, but luckily the other one was powerful enough to warm up the entire room.

The hotel is located about 35min driving from Lubeck, which was our point of interest. The hotel has couple of buildings and a nice restaurant. The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice and everyone could find something to eat. The hotel restaurant had a nice dinner menu and we ate both evenings there. Their pumpkin soup was awesome. Overall a nice experience.

The hotel is well situated in a quiet community. The facilities are first rate - sauna and a small pool. The best feature is the restaurant where only the best local produce is prepared into some great meals. Always book ahead as the restaurant can get busy with locals.

The hotel is in such a calm, quiet village yet easily located for visiting local sites and an easy drive for reaching the ferry to Denmark. The restaurant is fantastic and serves wonderful locally sourced food especially fish. The rooms are spotlessly clean and best of all the staff are welcoming and friendly.

This is a lovely family run hotel. The accommodation is excellent. Large rooms and beautiful old buildings. The staff are welcoming and a nice touch at breakfast was a personally reserved table. Best of all was the restaurant. The food is excellent and a lot of it is locally sourced. Lovely quiet village location and a swimming pool as well. Thoroughly recommended.
