Wonderful selection of home made jams for breakfast. Comfy, nice room with balcony over the river. Traditional German Saxon village off the beaten track. The host is an art lover and easy going.

We had a large room, with balcony, in the heart of an almost medieval village just outside Blaubeuren proper - very quiet (except for the church bells), comfortable, with excellent breakfast.

My third time staying there! Best hotel, best value and the breakfasts are fabulous! Having a first rate restaurant across the street is an added bonus!

Unfortunately, the host had had an emergency, so we had to let ourselves in.

Very nice breakfast. A quiet location away from the busy part of Blaubeuren. We arrived in the afternoon, so we had plenty of time to visit(on foot) the amazing main attraction of Blaubeuren, the blue pool, source of the river Blau.

The place is 30 minutes from the nearest station of train and buses. When coming and leaving with luggage, taxi was the only option (about 8 euros per trip).

I arrived late and found the key with a paper with instructions written in German and English. That was most helpful. The breakfast is one of the best I've had. Also there is wi-fi.
