Great location right in the old town. Lovely old building. Comfortable beds good heating. Amazing breakfast. If you require parking it's €9 not €4 as listed on the website. Parking is in a public parking garage.

The room was at the top floor and since it was a hot day, also the room was very hot. There were no fans available.

Breakfast should start from 7:00 if the hotel targets business travelers.

Breakfast from 8:00 is not compatible with breakfast travellers. Although I booked the room with breakfast and pai for it, I had to skip ny breakfast as U had to leave before 8:00.

The only thing that bothered me were the internal sounds that come with obviously being a very old building, so I'm not sure if anything can be done to fix all the creaking noises, and just have to accept it as part of the charm. The staircase circled up past my room on the first floor, and every single stair creaked like mad whenever people went up/down. One night there were people in the room on the floor above me, and everytime they walked across or around their room the sound of their floorboards creaked and intruded quite loudly. I put my noise-cancelling earplugs in but could still partly hear the creaking. For me, that was only thing I didn't like, and I'd imagine others who are noise-sensitive might feel the same. It definitely does not outweigh all the other fantastic aspects of Hotel Frankfurter Hof, and I'll gladly pay to stay here again on my next trip to the area.

Beautiful location, turn right out the door and you're immediately in die Altstadt, very easy walking distance to all the sights, delicious bakeries, inns, and little boutique shops. Turn left out the door, go up the road a few minues and you're in the middle of all the shops, with the Hauptbahnhof no more than 10min walk from the front door. Friendly owner, very comfortable room, large bathroom, hot shower with good water pressure. I was a bit apprehensive about the bed at first because it felt so soft I thought I'd have a bad back in the morning, but if anything it was the complete opposite -- I had an amazing sleep every single night, and would wake up feeling so comfy I didn't want to get out in the mornings!!!

When I booked my room I first couldn't get into the hotel as it was locked. I finally called the owner and somebody let me in. It said it had free Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi didn't work and when I went down to go to the reception to ask multiple times, the door to reception was locked and I don't believe anybody else was in the hotel other than me. I don't believe there was any heating on in my room either.

The person who checked us in had little English. I think places which accept bookings from English speaking tourists should take this into consideration.

There was cold in 2 rooms. No heating at all. You have to pay in cash, no credit cards are accepted. No parking available at the hotel, You have to use parking house opposite street.

Breakfast was modest but good. Coffe/tea was limited to one cup. Location is very close to city centre which is very beautiful. Full of good restaurants.
