The interior was slightly faded. You have to inform the staff if you want your room cleaned. So I did, at 07:30, but then it was too late, and the promised to do it the next day, but forgot. At the end of my week stay, the towels were kind of funky, the trash was full and I ran out of toilet paper

The room was spacious, due to an upgrade, the mattresses were hard, and pillows the perfect match between hard and soft. Personal was friendly

- The reception did not answer to my message on booking app. - everything is so old there. - the floor squeaks and crackles - it is pricy for such a place, but I think it is worth it comparing to other options in Berlin.

- It is clean. - The location is superb. - 10 mins on the tram to the city centre. - the number has towels, fan, comfortable beds. - nice and warm rooms during rainy days.

I am on Genius level 2 and denied with breakfast when I drop my luggage at the receptionist. The lights was not working well in the bathroom. Bit chilly room

Room was not clean enough. It does not have kettle in the room and elevator is far from reception area. I did not try breakfast so have no idea how it was.

Perfect location 5 min walk from U and S bahn. Good place to stay for 1-2 days if you are not planning to spend too much time at hotel. Very large room. Bathroom was quiet clean and has very hot water and clean towels. Room has street view. Although it is very busy street, isolation is very good and no problem with sleeping.

I have no real criticisms. Maybe, electric equipment could be better: one light didn't work, and electric connectors are rare.

The hotel has a very convenient location for traveling, it's close to Bahnhof Zoo. The service was good and people were friendly, the environment and furniture is old-style but nice.

Property was fine but I was given a dodgy room on the ground floor, behind the bar down some stairs. only 2 rooms on the floor, weird. the room was super hot, no air con and windows were old, could open but opened onto a courtyard where someone could easily of climbed in. had to keep them closed. Woken at 9am by construction workers chatting loudly outside my bedroom window in the courtyard.

We bought our own herbal teabags. There were no tea/coffee or kettle in the room. We asked for this at reception and was given a kettle with no cups etc. We were told to ask a shop next door for cups as they sold coffee, as the kitchen was closed after 8pm. We went next door but they would not give us any cups. We don't drink coffee, so could not have this. So weren't able to have something hot before bed. The reception didn't always have someone at the desk, we had to wait for them to appear in the evening, even we needed assistance.

The hotel was easy to find on the main road near shops. The room was a good size. It was noisy in the night as you could hear cars driving past. The room was comfortable and the beds not too hard.

The furniture and fittings badly need renewing. Bathroom fittings and curtain are old and worn Although we have always found room and bathroom to be clean the old marked furniture and fittings gi e the overall impression that it's grubby.

We've been to this hotel for stays of 2/3 days many times in past 10 years. We choose it because of price and position mainly. Although size of rooms great and frequently also a balcony.

There was no desk in the room although this was advertised in booking. The water pressure in the shower should be higher. This was not advertised but it would be nice to have a fridge in the room as well

Great location, public transportation 2 min walking (sbahn, ubahn, buses), restaurants, shopping and still quiet enough to sleep at nights

-old furniture and property is not up to date (it was very difficult to lock the doors) - bed was uncomfortable - breakfast was always the same (they could change the meet balls or frankfurter with Somme better food or change the chose of salami every day)

Ideally situated in middle of city . Close to everywhere I wanted to go to Very neat entrance liked the red carpet . Property very clean Staff very friendly Lifts easy to find and always working .Reception area very neat and well presented . Room was quiet didn’t hear any noise from other residents . Room also nicely furnished quaint . Bed very comfortable Bathroom very neat Shower water control so easy to control so had ideal water temperature ideal . Toilet comfortable and adequate supply of toilet rolls Fan worked continuously. Front door of room had good safe locking system

Everything in the room seems to be replaced. Everything is very old and sometimes broken. The floor is impossible to wash out.

The central position. The staff is welcoming. We arrived early but were let to our room without waiting. The hotel let you feel like you are back in the early 20-th century.

Sometimes I was struggling to open the door. Keyhole was old and difficult to open.

I like the retro vibe in my room. Bathroom was also nice! Clean and spacious.

The rooms are not very modern but if you stay here to explore Berlin and not planning to spend a lot of time in the hotel, that's not an issue at all!

The location is very convenient. The hotel is near the Zoologische Garten Bahnhof, therefore it is easy to reach any part of the city. A decent room for a decent price. A lot of place to grab a bite nearby.

The bathroom had hair on the floor etc from either the previous guest or cleaner which isn't great. The room could also do with a kettle and tea/coffee.

This hotel was great value for money. Felt safe and comfortable here. Would stay again for the same price.

The mattress was like slowly rolling down a hill and the wifi was unstable

Location is convenient and feels safe. I was not out on the street late at night but there are lots of restaurants and shops around
