    1. a receptionist forgot to scedule one of two my spa procedures, so a spa lady after finishing just one which had to be in the end, just left. I had to dress-up to remind a receptionist about the second procedure, so surprised spa lady had to start all over again, but this time it was rapidly. the spa rituals themselves and a spa lady were very nice! 2. unfriendly staff in the restaurant. in the one next door the staff is much more pleasant. 3. on winter most restaurants in the nearby are closed

a hotel on a beautiful quiet island. clean spacious room. breakfast is pretty fine, with tasty deserts. it would be nice to come here on summer.

Big room, modern, but cosy design. Staff very helpful, the restaruant was much better than You can normally expect in 3star hotel. Reichenau is very calm place and the hotel is exactly in the middle, everything (the churches, the port etc) can be reached walking.

There may or may not be a specific reason for this BUT, we really would appreciate Coffee facilities within the room.

All the staff, first and foremost were friendly, efficient & nothing was too much trouble including looking after our granddaughter's scooter ! The bar was ideally placed with dining either side, the food & beverage being excellent as well. The hotel location was ideal for visiting other family members who live on the island. We will definitely stay here again as opposed to another previously frequented hotel nearby.

It was hot while we stayed and the rooms simply didn't cool even with external door to balcony and window in bedroom open. The whole place was a bit characterless and sterile in my opinion.

A comfortable hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Delicious (but limited) evening menu.

the bathrooms are pretty small, the rooms could be a bit more spacious.

This is the original house, where the 'real Von Trapp' family lived, upon which the Sound of Music is based. However, the film was not made here. it is a lovely location out of the city centre, but with wonderful gardens, friendly and well informed staff. But it is perhaps not a fully professional hotel as it is run by the Foundation, so they not have a full manned reception etc, but lots of fun. The breakfast is really worth the additional 12 Euro, just to sit in the amazing dinning room
