Noisy place in a quiet town.

Some regular guests (a band playing in a nearby village) arrived at 03:30 in the morning and were quite noisy. Yet the female lead singer's singing was nice and pleasant to listen to if it wasn't for this odd hour of the night. The hotel is located next to a church. It's bell rings every 15 minutes but is quiet during the night. It starts again calling people to mass at 06:00 in the morning, also in the weekend. No wonder the Bavarians are so industrious.

The room was clean. The bathroom as well, but the Showerhead was old and leaking.

Great for an overnight stop on your way to somewhere else, but not much to do nearby.

We wish we had asked for extra pillows when we arrived or that they were simply in the room already as I've found many other places. The individual twin beds located side by side slide around the floor easily which might explain the population growth problem in Germany. The towels are due to be replaced, the shower head as well.

Breakfast was fine, food was Fresh and had enough variety to meet most people's tastes. It is a traditional European breakfast, (not bacon/sausage/scrambled eggs). Location is not far off the A7, maybe 1.5km which served us well. There are some restaurants and grocery stores in town. The room was clean and the bathroom was updated. It is located directly across from the train station if you want to arrive by rail. We used it as a launching point to reach Garmisch to reduce our travel times heading down and back, which worked out great and saved quite a few dollars compared to Garmisch hotel prices during the high season.

The few remarks I made may be more of personal, for example the bed pillow are collapsing into nothing (I Always take a set of my own). The tv programs are only local and of no interest, the supposed CNN Ch 8 did not worked. TV should have few more international channels in other languages like as French/English etc.

The Garni hotel is in an extremely convenient and safe location, just five minutes from the A7 motorway, inside a small part of the village, in front of the train station where from the Kiosk you can buy those little and handy items you need during a Journey. The restaurant and beer garden are just across the open parking, Room are spacious, very clean, well lit up with plenty of power point to recharge ypour gadgets. Bathrooms are equipped with premium quality fittings. A good hair dryer is also provided. Wi Fi was good and fast and easy to connect. Just out ofthe hotel there are a couple of supermarkets and a petrol station with competitive prices.
