Minor inconvenience from the limited hours for check-in / check-out and restaurant, but it’s worth a little inconvenience to stay in a local family-run place. Also, our room was above the outdoor patio, which has a great view of the mountains and the castle, but is also a popular place for smoking. So we had a little smoky smell coming through the window sometimes. It was ultimately not a big deal to us but others may find it bothersome.

This is a charming little hotel on a quiet street in a perfect location, convenient to bus stop, restaurants, grocery store, and main attractions in the area. We had a clean and well maintained spacious triple room with a fantastic view of Neuschwanstein Castle right out the window. Staff were friendly and helpful with all of our needs - in fact, we actually decided to add an extra night after arriving because there was so much to do in the area and the hotel was a great fit for us.

Staff could have been a bit more friendly. When I was checking out, he watched me struggle with heavy bags and didn't even offer to open the door. Room quite small

The scenery is fantastic, location is great for sightseeing, within walking distance to the thermal baths. Has a fan it the room which was great because it was very warm.

If you are there to see the castle, the location is great. Easy checkin/out. Clean spacious room for three. Very good breakfast. Reserved parking for the guests as well.

The bed has an old mattress that could be replaced. Dinner is a bit pricey but not outrageous.

The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom looks like it was recently renovated and the shower was nice. Food downstairs is tasty and breakfast has plenty of options.

Room size suitable for a family. I loved the double fossits and the large bathroom. The hotel has also a play area for kids.

The host over the weekend was not very kind or nice. Very gruff when we asked any questions.

Loved the neighborhood and all the flowers in the window boxes! When we checked in, our host was able to get us tickets to both castles for the next day, which was wonderful, as they were sold out on line. Very impressive and we were thankful! The breakfast was lovely and the wait staff was kind and attentive. We enjoyed our stay very much!

It seemed that the ventilation system didn't really work, the air in the room was not good althou the weather wasn't that hot, and there is non-stop traffic noice, if you keep the windows open

We booked a room for parents and two kids and only got linens for three people even though there was a second double bed in the suite. Luckily our kids are very young and could share a blanket, but it would have been a problem if they were older.

Very helpful - a glass item had broken in my suitcase and the concierge was most helpful in providing a small vacuum cleaner to remediate the situation and assist with the removal of the glass shards.

Great sized room, with a large bathroom. It was handy having a large fridge in the corridor.
