Poor sign points to get to the hotel... Went in by mistake to a private building as a result... Then of course the steps to get to the reception, no lifts available, are absolutely ridiculous!!! On top of that we had to carry a 3 week holiday luggage packaging all the way up those stairs!! The breakfast was way below standard, only scrambled eggs available as a hot, supposed to be, meal with a couple of different cold meats... Very small room, small television with 5 channels!! €100 for one night!!

The gate back out of the property as I couldn't wait to get out of the place!! Sorry..

The hotel is not suitable for disabled people nor parents with small children with pram: the only access to the hotel is via long stairs (70+ steps) with no elevator. Not all the staff speak English. The hotel is 15+ minutes from Meissen centre with restaurants etc. but in the hotel itself was no restaurant except for breakfasts. The hotel is located behind the railway, it could be extremely hard to find it without GPS navigation as entrance road is a small one (and the road from up of the hill is very narrow and steep).

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, kind personal.

It is a bit further off from the center, and there is no hotel restaurant, but these are not really big problems.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is surrounded by hills in a quiet area.

Be aware that the hotel is a bit farther from the city center. Also, it is on a small hill and there are ~10 - 20 stairs to reach it from the parking place. Neither was a problem for us as we had a car and have no health problems, but it might be a problem e.g. for elderly or disabled people.

We were able to check in an hour after the official front desk closing time. Breakfast was very nice.

Rather hard to comunicate in English.

Nice and calm place. Not far from the centre. Good breacfasts. To the hotel leads many steps ( not for exhausted guests :-) ).

Cyclists need to save energy for the 200 m BIG push up the hill to the hotel. You are NOT going to be riding up this one! WLAN (wifi) only works in the lobby and maybe a few nearby rooms, not in most rooms.

Hotel is buried in the trees on the steep side of a hill that will astound cyclists like us arriving from the north, who have scarcely seen a hill since Cuxhaven or Hamburg. Hotel is a 15 minute walk from the Porcelain Museum. Hotel does not serve dinner but we had a good meal at the Asian restaurant next door to the Porcelain Museum. Breakfast was good, and the bicycle room keeps bikes safe and dry overnight.

First it was difficult to find the street (quite a narrow one) after sunset. You need to climb stairs up a bit, still it worth it.

Quiet beautiful place, good heating in cold autumn nights. Close to the city center. Free private parking.

The staff can not speak English. The refrigerator wasn't cold at all. Only making a bed was done every day, and cleaning the bathroom was never done, finally the toilet paper and tissue have disappeared.

The staff is very frank and I'd like! The bed was confortabe!
