Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hardly anything negative to say, but what seemed a bit wasteful was the water and juice bottles at breakfast. If you wanted a glass of juice or water you had to take a whole bottle. In Germany, tap water is drinkable, so this solution seemed vwry environmentally unfriendly.
Good location, peaceful, clean and spacious room, good breakfast.

There was nothing to dislike
The location is great with easy access to train and bus networks. Breakfast was very good quality lots of choice and plentiful with staff continually refreshing everything.. All the staff are very professional, helpful and pleasant. Rooms are a good size and the showers are excellent. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Size of the bed was 140 cm. To small for adult and kid.

Close to Zoo or Savigny stations. Got a room on quiet side but there are also rooms facing the S-bahn. Good sound isolation and great breakfast.

The bed was harder than I like and the pillows not so comfortable. One staff member was quite rude but the rest were very good.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was plentiful. Most of the staff were really professional and friendly. Location was great. The price was excellent.

Costly parking but you can park for free few blocks away.
Nice hotel near the zoo and main shopping street. We liked the breakfast as well.

Not sure what it was but there was a clicking noise in the bathroom after we switched the lights off at the end of the day. Like a cracking noise. It kept the kids awake for a little bit.
Our room was nice and clean, beds were comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our breakfast with great choice of food.

Small hotel parking, without possibility to reserve.
The quality is better than the three stars would suggest. Clean, comfortable beds, luckily we couldn't hear the trains going by, we had windows facing the courtyard and not the track. Breakfast great, very rich. Perfect location just a short walk from the ZOO station and KuDamm, spacious underground parking about 100 from the hotel - just missing a car charger.

Nothing : ))). Since the window was closed, the sounds of the train did not disturb. Maybe on the other side of the hotel, it would be a bit disturbing at night.
The location of the hotel was very good, central. Close to public transport, Berlin Zoo and shopping streets. The room was big enough, clean and the windows were facing the courtyard, so you could only hear the train a little. Since the window was closed at night, the train did not disturb sleep. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very kind and responsive.
