Parking at back of the building, entrance on the other side. Although the room was spacy and comfortable, some refurbishment is recommended for the bathroom.

Big and comfortable room, very good bed, good breakfast. Quiet and with private parking. We will come back in our next journey next year.

Cooked items and coffee at breakfast constantly prepared fresh, which is actually good (no solid omelette!), but they do get overwhelmed if everyone arrives for breakfast simultaneously.

Opposite station Superbly fresh eggs at breakfast (but see above)

No access from rear of hotel to car park although not a major inconvenience to me might be a problem for someone who struggles with heavy bags. No doubt hotel staff will supply assistance.

Well situated for public transport with rail, bus and tram next to hotel. Lovely breakfast on top floor with good views. Although in modern part of town it's not far to the old town centre.

Rooms inside old, walls grubby in need of some fresh paint. The carpet very stained and unappetizing. The shower glass had a very ugly crack in and very slippery in the bath. At breakfast the care taker lady was so intimidating hovering over the buffet, you felt she counted every gram of what you eat, never more than three slices of a cold meat on the platter for many guests "don't you dare take more then one...".

Location close to the railway station and across the road from the most amazing ice cream place!

The facilities are a bit outdated, new carpet, paint, and drapes could really spruce this place up.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They take great care in their hotel.

The hotels close proximity to the mainline and Harz railway stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. lift access to all floors, or you could take the stairs if you were feeling energetic! Reasonable varied selection available for breakfast.

It was by far the most comfortable hotel in its category. Good location, ample and very clean room and bathroom, nice staff, correct breakfast, reasonable rates. Definitely a good hotel.

Parking limited and difficult to use. (Just a few free hotel spots. Other guests with expensive cars took two spaces to avoid door damage, denying other guests a spot.)

    Excellent breakfast; good service.
