    No complaints.

Although the building was built in 1296 its rooms have most of the modern conveniences that one would expect. The bathroom is modern. The breakfast room, nevertheless, still has the Gothic characteristics from a renovation that was finished in 1902. We considered that a plus. Our room balcony provided a beautiful view of the valley below. Parking was available in a nearby garage for an extra five Euro charge. One can park in front of the hotel to offload and load luggage without a problem. Service was great. The family owned business ensures customer needs are met, which includes carrying bags into the room. The bed was very comfortable.

The fact that we had only one night in this funny hotel ;-)

A wonderful city, the stunning view from the hotel room to the "Schwäbische Alb", everything was great.

The carpets on the stairs & in room could be improved.

Very friendly hotel owners. Good choice of breakfast. Excellent views of local scenery & railway. Centrally located in town.

an almost miraculous restoration of a 600 year old medieval house, in the heart of medieval Rottweil, a labor of love run by a local family

The friendliness and the welcome of the staff was over and above what one usually expects and gets; there was time for a good chat and exchange of local news. The room was gorgeous, the breakfast delicious. I'll be back.

Very interesting rooms in historic building with beams and individual furnishings. Staff pleasant and helpful. Close to centre of town and restaurants. View out over the valley from our room.

Breakfast could have been more substantial, however for the money is was fine. The hotel could charge five euros a night more and offer more at breakfast.

A great hotel, helpful staff and very good value for money. We had two rooms and the bathroom facilities were excellent

Breakfast had limited options, but was fine for us. Hotel Restaurant is now closed, which is a pity. Parking in Rottweil, anywhere around the central area, is a pain.

Our room had a lovely panorama from the small balcony, plenty of space, and the breakfast room was also lovely. In staying in a place like this which is so old, don't expect spick n span everywhere, and the character of this hotel is unique and we really loved it. We would come back here for sure.
