Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Outdated rooms and day staff are super rude we turned up 1 hour early after driving through most of the night from the UK, staff members said your early wait over there without even answering my question of where in town we could eat.

The parking fee of 16€ over night is a bit steep I think.
Nice setting and beautiful building; spacious, clean and well-lit room with a high ceiling. There was TV, kettle and a mini-fridge in our room. We stayed here overnight en route to Denmark, and everything went fine for our stay.

Minor point but it would have been handy to have known the bar times but that's all.
The hotel is approximately 500m from the train station and about 300m from the market square, so very easy access, first impressions are very good, it is set back from the road and is secluded, gorgeous stone work on the outside but then very modern inside, spacious, booking in was easy as I had completed the online booking the day before. Good room, space, two large windows so lots of light. Mini-bar well stocked and room service dropped around a little gift bag with snacks. Breakfast was both hot and cold as you would expect, good range and constantly refreshed. Big car park and wrapped around the hotel which is good, nice gardens and I did sit outside. Staff were polite and helpful, easy going, in the back ground but always there. The bar area is adjacent to a number of alcoves so you can have a meal or just a drink with a degree of privacy. Would I recommend it, yes, I spent four nights there and I felt very relaxed.

Rooms in very rundown condition for a 4 star hotel, breakfast and parking overpriced. Some hotel staff very unfriendly.

The property is very old. The curtains have holes. The bathroom is very old. The toilette doe not work properly

Excellent location, between the railway station (8 min. walk) and the city centre (8 min. walk), very easy to find when coming by train. The hotel is located in a historic U-shaped building, previously used as barracks and hospital, on the site of an ancient monastery, surrounded by a lawn and trees, which gives it a quiet atmosphere. That building has been beautifully transformed into a comfortable hotel. The room was entirely satisfying and the buffet breakfast offered a good choice.

Good location, parking available on site and the staff was very friendly. Great to stop there while on a business trip and can even be a great place to stay if you go to M'era Luna.

I went for a festival in the area and noticed the hotel put their prices up by a lot for the festival weekend. The nightstand wasn’t cleaned properly before my stay either.
Friendly and helpful receptionists. Comfortable room and good breakfast. A short walk from both the train station and market.
