Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyTwo problems with parking. 1. I received a four day card at check in, but I had to run back up to reception daily to have it activated. 2. Parking was 34 Euro per day. Equal quality hotel 500 meters down the road has cheaper parking. Two problems with the restaurant. 1. Brasserie wasn't open the entire trip. 2. The last time I was here they had an excellent menu with multiple steaks to choose from. Now they only had a one page menu with pricey items.
More than enough healthy options at breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet, even though it was next to the main road. There was always plenty of enough parking, regardless of the time of day.

PolandThe bathroom was very boring
Staff very friendly, a standard bath-tub in a hotel is really not up to date…. or you have a wellness bathroom or just put a shower in;)

United States of AmericaIt’s a bit dated. The hallway carpets looked worn and dirty.
Very close to the old town for Christmas market and sightseeing. Our section of hotel had a side entrance that put us right on the street so we didn’t have to walk all the way back to lobby to leave hotel. This was very handy. Only a 5 minute walk to the Dom. Good restaurant and bar and right off of the river walk. I enjoyed walking there. Room ver comfortable and spacious.

United KingdomWas offered a free upgrade by the receptionist in return for subscribing to the Hilton reward program (called 'Hilton Honors'). Was then given the basic room I had booked - ground floor, facing the traffic, even though the place was more or less empty - it would have cost them nothing to put me on the river-front room on the other side of the corridor. I guess she gets some bonus for signing people up to the program and lies her way into getting your data. I wouldn't mind, but naturally I was all grateful and smiley about the upgrade. Not very nice - I felt a bit conned and foolish. [Needless to say, I now get lots of nice emails from Hilton about every damn thing].
Good location.

AustraliaNo free internet in your room only in the lobby. A charge of 19 Euros per day. For a Hilton hotel in this day and age it surprises me that free internet is not available in all areas of the hotel .Very disappointing. Something to consider if booking this hotel

South AfricaReally difficult to criticize anything. Perhaps the shower curtain/shower tray edge could be improved, there is a great deal of spatter, requiring quite a bit if time to wipe the floor. But this is really a minor issue, considering everything else.
First of all, thank you for helping me with an early check-in. After a long international flight, it is the most welcome and refreshing thing to be able to check in on arrival, rather than to wait for the afternoon. Room: Lovely and very spacious, comfortable, and the sunscreens for afternoon sun were very welcome. The Nespresso machine was nice! Breakfast: wide selection, enough seating for all guests, nice view towards the river. Alternative access to the Dom-wing very convenient. The selection of gallery artworks for sale that was on display, was fascinating. Very supportive to artists to make your premium exhibition space available, with exposure to perhaps a more discerning group of people. A delightful stay, hope I can be back.
