Being charged 7 euro for parking.

Great location for the price. You’re a two minute walk into downtown Cochem and fourteen minutes to the castle by foot. There’s lift you can take to the opposite cliff overlooking the town. Fantastic Riesling wine all over the place for cheap, and tons of restaurants and pubs to hop along too. Breakfast was fantastic too.

Bit old fashioned. We had a room at the front of the hotel which is in a busy road so quite noisy from about 5.30 am. Also parking opportunities are not great.

Friendly Staff. Great Breakfast. Efficient service. Bike storage for cycle.

Bike parking was in a garage that only could be opened by the staff. Outside the reception opening time there was no access to the bikes. It should be accessable eith a code or something. Beds were to soft for me.

Nice clean rooms. Newly restored. Close to city center. Nice breakfast.

Close to the city center, but located at a busy road. The family room was very small for that price. Staff very friendly and helpfull and managed to provide us with a parking lot at the hotel (they only have one and parking is hard at that busy road).

No elevator, which means you have to carry heavy lugage up the stairs. Expensive parking (7€) on the street. Unpleasant signs at the hotel which do not make you feel welcome.

Big and clean room. Walking distance to the city center. If you get a room on the back side of the hotel it is really quiet.

We were charged 3€ a bike to keep them in the garage. It kind of felt mean somehow, it isn't any special garage and a bike isn't really taking much space. It just felt a bit unfair.

Value for the money, probably. It is located uphill after the rail tracks but quite close to the old center. Our room faced a mountain behind which meant it was super quiet and you mostly heard wind against the trees. Breakfast was large and good. The bathroom was super clean and modern, even though the building might look a bit old from the outside. In general a very simple place, where you get what you expect. Maybe would stay there again.

They sold us a parking spot for 7 Euros accross the street while in the sequence we found out that we could have parked for 1 Euro right by the Hotel at a public parking lot. It would be nice if they informed the clients about such alternative.

but it's loud, right on a Busy feeder road to the Mosel, and parking is tough and limited. Rooms need a fan as you'll want you windows closed due to road noise.

Breakfast was wonderful and large, staff was great. The location is great, just 2 blocks from the start of Cochem`s Centre. Price is right.

    Nothing!!

Staff were very accomodating, asked for earlier breakfast on last day, they were happy to oblige. Very friendly, always smiling, spoke very good English which gave me the confidence to use German more. Breakfast was great, very good selection, if we wanted something different we only had to ask and they were happy to help. Hotel location was within easy/short walking distance of town and pretty close to castle (uphill all the way) with amazing views. Hotel only yards from Sesselbahn (chair lift) again with amazing views and a cafe too. To top it off we had fantastic weather, I even got a bit of sunburn.....in April!! May very well stay there again if we revisit Cochem.

Breakfast not included because it was a special offer, which is contrary to what I saw on Booking.com., and it costs 9 euro/person according to the staff...the most expensive breakfast ever known to me. We had to pay 2.5 euro/person to store our bike in the garage, which was fine, but still other hotels that we stayed in offered the same service for free.

The room is in the basement but well lit with big windows and very spacious for 2 people. Outside if you leave the window open, you can hear the babble of the brook that passes behind the house.

Very nice hotel with super friendly staff. A short walk to a lot of restaurants and shopping. We arrived in a big car and had no problems to find a parking place. Nice breakfast and cozy atmosphere. Be aware that you may not be able to use your cellphone as the mobile signals in this area are not the best.
