We booked the cheapest room and it was very small, but as it was only for a weekend, it was ok. Next time, we would go for a bigger room!

We went to Kurort Oberwiesenthal for a ski weekend and the hotel proved to be great. It is very convenient for families as it has ski rental and school on site, a swimming pool and lots of activities for kids. We had the half-board option and we were very happy with the food choice. Staff very helpful and friendly at all times. Highly recommended for families.

The rooms are rather small and simple. Instead of a double bed two single beds. The bathroom is really small, with no place to move around.

The hotel offers a lot of activities for children, an awesome breakfast buffet, and great view.

The room was not quite clean:dust everywhere, the carpet had lots of stains and the furniture looked old. The bathroom was very small and the recipient which supposed to be shower gel was empty.

The hotel was very close to the sky resort and the view from the room was very nice.

Very busy hotel. Breakfast room struggled to keep up with the volume. Coffee machines kept breaking down. Hotel rooms very dated and small. Needs a upgrade. Towels need upgrade

Location is excellent. You can access the mountain directly from the hotel. Hotel offered many activities such as swimming pool, table tennis, billiards, Wii, kids Kino...

The room was small. The bathroom radiator appeared to be on full heat all the time and turning it down didn't make a difference

Plenty of choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend the steak restaurant in the hotel - ate there twice. Bar service was speedy and there was live entertainment. Ski rental shop in the hotel was good value and you can ski almost to the door. The pistenblick bar is also worth a visit

Room small and outdated, WiFi very slow, parking for hotel guests is quite expensive. Hotel design is outdated.

Excellent location, breakfast buffet was very good. Indoor pool was good.

The rooms were very small for what you pay. A double room is really only suitable as a single and would not work for a family with children. Some of the staff was not very professional - making inappropriate jokes, etc. The waiting staff was also incredibly slow in the afternoons.

Overall, it was a decent place to stay. Easy to find with direct access to the slopes and only a short walk into the village. For the most part, the food was good, the staff was friendly and the facilities were fair.

shower did not work, it was either hot or cold and switched every few seconds. The wifi reception was so weak that we had no wifi in the room + 6€ for sauna towels is a rip-off

    super close to the slopes

To big, too many people. Atmosphere of a retirement home or a train station. To loud in the breakfast hall. Too long waiting at the registration. Check-out already at 10 clock. For the given price the sauna should be included.

You had to pay 7.50 euros for the parking and the room was small.

Huge choice of food on the restaurant buffet, great facilities (indoor pool, playrooms, kid's cinema, crafting room, Wii lounge) to keep the kids entertained. Ski in, ski out access to the slopes.

The children's animation was well organized but our daughter missed the opportunity to dance at the kids disco on Tuesday. It was lots of games and team relays. The staff could have been friendlier and in the morning more staff were needed to clear the tables.

The children's play room is great and free access to the pool makes afternoon entertainment for kids. The children's buffet us good and having a place for the children to play in the dining room during the dinner is good for little kids. The ski school for kids aged 3 upwards is very good. Having a big drying room for boots and skis was great. The massage was good - relaxing.
