If you want to have it very quiet you should ask for a room facing the backyard. Our rum was towards the street and as there are restaurants and bars it is noisy. Windows closed and fan on, no problem for us. But others might be disturbed.

Very nice staff, family owned and really caring. Super pretty rooms and very clean and cosy. 10 minute walk to the center, restaurants and coffee bars directly next to the hotel. Great perfect, very good price. Hotel Parking directly behind the hotel. One of the best city hotels I have been.

WiFi very poor in my room on the 2nd floor. Street noise at the front. Not issues for me at all but no lift and no food available in the hotel itself.

Comfortable. Clean. Friendly. Excellent location amongst bars and restaurants, a short frequent tram ride to the city centre.

In the bathroom very charp step right on the sill of shower. I managed to hurt/hit my toes on it every morgning while going into shower :(.

Location was suitable - 20 minutes walking distance from city centre - and food market just around the corner. Possibility to make instant coffee. I also liked the hallway - very nice and cosy.

Cleaning guy left the windows open and switched off the heating for the whole day; No receptionist on Sunday before 9am; The wooden staircase is veeery loud.

Comfy bed, large bathroom in one room and extra chair in the other room (I booked 2 rooms - for ourselves and friends)

The location was not as central as I'd been led to believe. When I arrived I had to take a taxi from the train station, which I had not anticipated. The website gives the impression this property is more centrally located than it is

Staff were very helpful. There were lots of bars and restaurants in the area

    Nothing to complain about.

Easy to reach by car. Walking distance into the city. Nice rooms and charming place overall. Breakfast is served in the restaurant next door that also has the keys if the hotel is not staffed.

Our room was located right under the roof - that's 5 stories high. There is no lift, the staircase is quite steep and getting the suitcases up is a really unpleasant excercise. The breakfast is set in the pub located next door - therefore one has to get out of the building to get there - not very convenient in winter. The room under the roof has very low ceiling and mostly sloped one, therefore one has to crouch a lot to get to the bed or elsewhere. Standing upright is only possible in the corridor. If one stnads from a chair, one would most certainly bang one's head on the ceiling. The water head in the tub is extrtemely low. If one opens the shower handle it barely flows at all. The tub is located in the center of the bathroom with no curtain - so all the water that managed to flow out of the shower sprinkles everywhere on the floor. If one stands up in the tub to take a shower, one would bang one's head on the sloped roof-window.

Hotel is located within 10 minutes walking distance from the city center. Our room had a small kitchenette and a fridge.

The room we got had only view to the loud street. Bars, cars and train just outside the window. Whole day was hot and there was no way to open a window during the night. Also there was a problem with the shower (water was dropping to the other floor) so we ware asked not to use it...

We got a discount after complaining about quality of the room.

A bit noisy in the evenings (windows looked out on the busy street). Occasionally there were some problems with Wi-Fi. No elevator (i lived at first floor, but my friends lived at fourth). Delicious, hearty but a bit monotonous breakfast. If you are occupied about 18 and later, you have to take your room key in a nearby café.

Comfortable and big room. Polite staff. Good location relative to the centre of the city. Good transport connection. Delicious and hearty breakfast. Excellent value for money.

Unfortunately, we were in Leipzig the night of Karli Beben, which apparently is an annual, semi-spontaneous, very unofficial street festival on Karl Leibnicht Strasse. The music goes on all night, or at least until about 4, and one of the most musical cafes was right under our window. Somehow, though, we managed to get a decent night's sleep.

About a 10-minute walk from the old city center of Leipzig, this hotel is modest but very comfortable and well-located. The room was spacious and well-appointed, though not glitzy. But clean and comfortable. My standard is: Is the room nice enough that you would go back to the hotel to hang out for a few hours before dinner? The answer for this hotel is: yes.
