Given the new spike in infections all around, a mask mandate in the publicly shared spaces or at least a recommendation would have been welcome. The rooms could be better with regard to noise insulation; the doors are somewhat flimsy and it gets noisy early in the mornings already.

The location is very conveniently close to the S-Bahn Griebnitzsee and has a great view of the lake. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our rooms were ready on time and we were granted a late check-out without problems. The hanging seat was very comfy. The curtains really darken the room effectively!

The location is quite creepy at night if you arrive by public transportation.

Very good location, very helpful staff, clean and nice room, great breakfast. I was able to borrow mobile charger from the reception without any hassle. Also, If you decide that you do now want your room cleaned, they give you a chocolate. Those are little things that make a difference.

We were in a second building on the opposite side of the road facing the train station with trains in each direction every 10 minutes. It was very noisy and not what we thought we were getting.

Bike and boat hire next door. Beautiful area in easy reach of the city centre and all the wonderful buildings. The sightseeing ship pulls up next to the hotel.

Helpful, English-speaking staff. Nice breakfast. Great location 30 seconds walk from Griebnitzsee station. Highly recommend. (I accidentally booked the wrong Potsdam Seminaris hotel and was able to cancel free of charge within 24 hours of my stay and rebook the right one - thanks Booking.com).

Overall not a four star hotel, perhaps a three star. The carpeted floors both in the corridor and in the room don't smell great. Furniture in the room is quite old, and the window blinders cannot be opened because they are build-in the window in the middle of the double gazing! So if you are claustrophobic not ideal. One day I was sleeping and got woken up at 8.30am by the cleaning lady knocking repeatedly on the door because she wanted to clean the room! At hostels they would wait until 10am.... No complimentary water or coffee provided. I would have expected more value for money given the price paid (almost 200 per night!).

The location is super close to the campus Griebnitzsee of the University of Potsdam, on a very beautiful lake. Also super close to the train station which can take you to Berlin or Potsdam centre. I stayed not on the main building, but in another one, however there is an underground tunnel connecting the two buildings which is very useful. The breakfast was really good and the restaurant locations is amazing. The buffet dinner also very good with a great selection.

Our furniture had stains on it which was a bit gross. Pillows were really bad, just so flat. Parking expensive.

We arrived late on a Monday night and restaurant and bar closed and no restaurants open nearby as it was out of season so we had to rely on a vending machine. Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be a thoughtful addition.

Modern hotel overlooking lake across the road from S bahn station which is about 10 minutes from Potsdam and 30 from central Berlin. Quiet surroundings with balcony. Very extensive good breakfast. Good value ( was low season ).
