Lack of parking if you do not reserve when booking, which is not obvious and seems difficult to add to a booking.

Very cosy. Location is a few stops on the u-bahn from the centre

There was a "bossy attitude" from the receptionists, even though language was always correct the lack of warmth and flexibility created a feeling of being more of a nuisance having come to stay in the hotel. Here is an example: Breakfast was available until 9.30 according to all information, but on our arrival at 9.27 we were denied access with the frank "greeting" that we unfortunately were "too late". Breakfast hours always states the period of ENTERING and must allow some overlap to finish eating. "Not in my Hotel" the owner said, while claiming 9.30 was the ending time, so entering at 9.27 was not possible. As a frequent traveler I have never experienced such an unhospitable behaviour, which to my surprise was defended by the owner. With 25 years in Hotel management and GM of several 300 room hotels, I find this totally unacceptable also from a professional standpoint. The sign in the reception says it all: "Smile - it confuses people". Well, if the philosophy of this hotel is to confuse its guests, they sure did a great job!

The interior design of this small private "art/boutique" hotel is interesting and done with a touch of personal creativity. Our room was small but nice and the comfort of the beds very good. Cleaning was excellent! From what we could see, all rooms are differently decorated and stylish.

Problems with the wifi multiple times. Room on the 4th floor with no elevator. If you have health problems, this could be a concern. Breakfast is expensive with more affordable options close by.

The room was very clean and relatively close to transit, an easy walk-about 10 minutes.

Not suitable for business travellers: only 1 device on wifi, low bandwidth and signal strength, parking impossible even if you take the risk of getting a parking ticket, ridiculous and inflexible cancellation terms. Rooms with single bed are not good value for money, much better alternatives nearby.

Wi-Fi was desperate. Works only for 1 device and connection is very poor. Price was too high. Of source, all hotels in Dusseldorf during Medica are overpriced, so my value-for-money score is lower, then could be at other time.

    Staff was very friendly.

Wifi acceptable, but only one device is allowed.... I have 4! Parking impossible, and police is quick. No mini bar.

Nice quiet small hotel, nicely decorated rooms, very friendly staff

A small place as this didn't have a very good breakfast. Maybe this could be found outside, "outsourced". Would be my recommendation to the place.

It is close to where I had business.
