Just the most welcoming place we have stayed at in our world travels. Incredibly clean and well appointed. Owners are just the nicest people you will meet. The breakfast is at least 6 STARS. Seriously. We have stayed in Fussen many times and Hotel Christine is by far superior in every detail. Many thanks for the great experience. We were truly humbled.

Nothing. We had a most enjoyable stay and would recommend Hotel Christine.

You can find a hotel in the centre of Fussen at a price, but if you’re prepared to take a pleasant 10 minute walk into town you’ll get much better value at Hotel Christine. We liked the clean and comfortable facilities, the free parking, the beautifully cooked and presented breakfast and the very welcoming staff.

Only one complaint; the tub was a little hard to get in and out of. Only one wish...a kettle in the room. (Otherwise, I would give it a 10)

Breakfast was amazing! So much food! Anna is so sweet. Our room was immaculate! The location is great. Just a short pedestrian path to walk to restaurants. The town is lovely.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Proprietors and staff were very helpful and very accommodating. Superb breakfast, food was excellent and of very high quality. Would highly recommend and will certainly stay again when we return to the area .

Fantastic hotel with the perfect location for visiting the area - 10 minute drive to the castles and 10 min walk to the town centre with all its restaurants and cafes. Our balcony overlooked the mountains. Friendly, helpful staff and an amazing breakfast that sets you up for the day. Would highly recommend staying at Hotel Christine.

The only downside for us is that we were on the 2nd floor (which is the 3rd if you are from the US) and there is no elevator. So if you have large suitcases it can be difficult.

Very clean, the owner was very nice and the breakfast he cooked was amazing! We walked into the room and it was like a formal dining room; the tables were already set with orange juice, a smoothie in a champagne glass, fresh fruit salad in a martini glass...our room had an arrangement of fruits, nuts, sweets...very nice. Also, we had arrived around 5 pm (17:00) and had been out in the rain. My umbrella didn't keep me completely dry and Kurt saw how wet one of my sweatshirt sleeves was and offered to dry it for me. I thought that was so kind. He makes you feel like you're a guest in his home.

Anna and Herr Ruppert took care of us from the moment we arrived, going above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. Our room had a large sun terrace with a view to the mountains and Anna supplied us with tickets for free bus travel and museum entry. We chose to walk to Hohenschwangau / Neuschwanstein instead which took 40 minutes from the hotel along a footpath. Best part of our stay was the never ending breakfasts, plates and plates of delicious food brought to us and topped off with a morning Prosecco. Thanks Anna and Herr Ruppert

Hotel Christine was our final stop of our 40th-anniversary trip to Germany and it turns out we saved the best for last. The level of details and amenities in the Hotel Christine room elevated the room above the other 3-star hotels we’d stayed at. They had a sturdy fan, something every other hotel we’d stayed at sorely lacked, especially with the unexpected warm weather. The sliding glass door could be cracked open, allowing fresh air in but maintaining safety. The room was also clean and had a wonderful view off the balcony of Neuschwanstein. The owner, Kurt Ruppert, a friendly, kind man, is a true master chef. We felt so pampered and special and looked forward to breakfast, which was a special event. Smoked salmon, fancy cheeses, meats, yogurts, fruit cup, fruit smoothies, orange juice, and coffee, not to mention the showcase, a special treat prepared by Kurt Ruppert that was different each morning but each dish was exquisitely delicious, a visual and tasty treat. A 10/10 on the culinary scale of excellence. Anna, his sidekick, was one of the friendliest people we’ve had the pleasure to meet. She added to the experience and helped out in various aspects of running the hotel. We were always greeted with warmth and a wide smile, a great way to start the day. We’re already planning my next trip to Germany and Hotel Christine is on the top of the list.

The shower system in the bathroom wasn’t very efficient. One of the rooms had a lot of bugs (room 12). No fan in one room, which made it hot. Mattresses we’re comfortable but the hard bed frame made it difficult to sit on the edge.

We loved having the balcony and the view from one of the rooms was Neuschwanstein Castle.

The shower in the room was awful. One couldn't actually stand erect in the shower (we are rather short) since the ceiling was sloped and very low at the point where the bathtub was. So, a very inconvenient experience.

the room was spacious, well lit and comfortable. the bed was very large and comfortable. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was served in a beautiful manner, although the selection was a bit lacking. However, the cook prepared a specialty dish (apparently he makes something different every day) which was outstanding (the best French toast we've ever had).

Breakfast was the one of the best I’ve had on any trip! Location was very good with a great walking path to downtown Fusson - 10 mins.

We arrived early by car. Onsite free parking was a big plus. We were allowed to check into our room several hours before check in time. The staff was most friendly and accomodating. Walking distance from the hotel lies the Old Town of Fussen. The ‘Rewe’ grocery was just a short walk away. Most impressive was the breakfast both in presentation, variety and taste. We would definitely book here again when we return to Fussen.
