The hotel was very near great pizza parlors. You should try their delicious pizzas!! You will savor your culinary experience long after your trip. The hotel room was very clean and met my expectations. It faced a lovely school yard. The staff is to be well commended. GREAT JOB GUYS!!

Location of the hotel was great, you easily walk to the old city center. In the street there are bikes that you can pick up and leave anywhere in the city you like. So great location, quiet hotel, good and clean room.

Bathroom consisted of 2 rooms - shower and toilet, and a single door to cover only one room at a time. So when your partner is in the shower you cannot use the other room apparently. The shower also has a window to the room that can be only partially covered. And sink is in the room directly

The location is far from the shopping district and the beautiful Munich city center.

It’s perfect for a traveling group since separate rooms are very close, it’s also a small distance from a couple of great takeout and lunch options.

Lift was a bit slow, and even with the shutters closed, there is still some light coming in. I also found the breakfast overpriced.

Amazing location next to the metro station Goetheplatz. Supermarkets and other stores are also very close by. Comfortable, small room witht a lovely balcony looking the inner courtyard. Clean toilet with an adjacent shower.

It’s my 2nd stay at Gio and I can’t stand the toillete’s fan noise during the night, which randomly turns on (and stays on) despite following the staff’s indication to close the toillete’s door. It happened on my first stay/room and now again on a different room. Ultimately I had to disconnect electricity in the entire room by unplugging the card, which means you can’t charge your devices overnight. Staff was kind enough to offer me a free breakfast, but the problem remained and management should really address this auto fan issue across all rooms.

Great location close to the ubahn and walkable to Munich’s downtown and Marientatz. The hotel is very comfortable and “easy going”, with nice rooms and uncomplicated front desk.

For some rooms, you need to take a couple of stairs after the elevator. It is not very easy for people with accessibility issues.

We really liked everything about the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was spacious. It is great that the rooms have little balconies. The shower was also very good. The hotel is 5 min walk from Goethestrasse U-bahn.

Not a dealbreaker, but initially uncomfortable to have a shared door for the toilet and shower cubicles , making it hard to use both at the same time for 3 people sharing a room - stayed 2 nights so we just worked around it. WiFi was not great so just ended up using my own.

The staff were very welcoming, the room was comfortable and there was ample space for 3 people sharing a room. While there is no restaurant on the hotel grounds, there are a lot of good and decently-priced food options around.

The hotel has paid parking. This is convenient, but if you have a large car, you may experience difficulties, since the cells for cars are very modest and have a noticeable slope. Show your skills :)
