    - There is no parking at the hotel, but there is one large parking nearby, at the Cinemax complex. The price is only 3.50€ / day! - There's a very big shopping mall across the street; the main commercial street is one minute walk from the hotel. - Three minutes walk from Kennedy square, where you can find nice bars & restaurants. If in winter, there's a Christmas market, too.

Breakfast ok, but no toaster nor warm milk: just some bread with jam, butter, ham, cheese; cereals, juice and some piece of fruit.

Staff, location, and cleaning ok. Perfect for just one night!!

In relation to the price, and to similarly priced rooms in other hotels in Germany that were very close to the Main Station, it was difficult to understand why the room in this hotel with the price it had - 160 EUR for 3 nights -why it had so few amenities - no paper, nor pen; no information nor map about the City neither in the room, nor at the Reception, no kleenex, no shelves in the bathroom for toiletries and very few minimal toiletries from the hotel, just one main plug near the door, out of reach for a computer. The room was on a 3rd floor without an elevator for the luggage and no assistance provided to carry the luggage upstairs. I arrived at 12.30 and was told the room would not be available until 2.30 pm and was then told there was no other choice but a room on the 3rd floor without an elevator.

The hotel has no own parking place.

The happiness and kindness of the receptionist. That was worth to book this hotel. Further, it's was very clean and the breakfast was very good.

You can hear everyone getting in and out of the rooms next to you. It seemed to me they don't differentiate between the rooms where smooking is allowed with the ones where is not. The breakfast was the usual for Germans: bread or cereal.

The room was ok just to spend the night. The bathroom seemed new and clean enough.

The room was practical but strictly bare essentials, reminding me of '80s student housing or hostels. Not all staff members speak English.

The location is quite quiet but central, only two minutes from Kennedyplatz and a large shopping centre. The bathroom has had a recent facelift. Good wi-fi. OK breakfast

Very thin doors / neighbors were literally having a party in the room next door - seemed to be workers from outside Germany that don't care that other people try to sleep (I did politely ask...). 1st night things quieted down after 23:30 - 2nd night still loud conversations going on until 24:30 hours... In other words: bring ear-plugs.

Simple room - good for short stay in center of Esssen

I didn't like that the staff at the check-in seemed very reluctant to give me an invoice. Moreover, there is no elevator, and thus it's quite difficult to carry big luggage up or down the stairs. Wi-fi signal in the rooms is very low to none.

Location is great and part of the staff is quite nice. Breakfast is also good.

Card machine didn't work and had to pay by cash. Thankfully there was an atm just a few meters next to the hotel.

The room was very quiet and everything was very clean.

The hotel has no lift, and as we are a mature couple and our room was on the 2nd.floor, we had great difficulty bring our luggage up to our room. We were unfortunate the evening that we arrived that the person on the check-in desk could not assist us, as he was rather old.

The hotel was located in the city centre, and only 10 to 15 minutes from Essen Hbf. Taxi fare was only €8.60 The hotel staff were very good, with a 24 hour manned front desk. Breakfast was from 6am to 10am and there was a nice selection.
