Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only negatives were that two lights were not working in my room. Having reported that, they were still not working at the end of my 3–night stay. There was no soap in the shower dispenser on arrival. It was disappointing that the bar closed at 10 pm.
Quiet location. Lots of space. Great dining/breakfast area. Large, well-furnished room. Really good breakfast.

Lack of information in the room and also on checking in
Lovely clean room, beds very comfortable however we would have liked instructions on how to use the coffee machine in our room and some leaflets on what there was in the surrounding area and also where the facilities were with the hotel grounds. The most disappointing thing was that we was not informed that the restaurant and bar was closed on a Sunday.

There was not much air moving around the room - it was quite stuffy. No way to regulate the temperature in the room.
Nice area and room was nicely laid out. Furniture looked comfy and the space was nicely arranged.

train track is very close to the property, no deal breaker, but can be noisy
Large room, with little kitchenette with possibility to sit outside. Restaurant in the main building, good food and beer, so very convenient.

The reception in the restaurant was terrible. No smiles, no welcoming. The staff treated you like you were an inmate in a prison. No flexibility. <it would be nice if they offered other options than just the buffet. Closed on sundays. Weird with a disco in the basement, that had nothing to do with the culture in the rest of the otel. I WAS VERY SURPRISED TO FIND STAFF SITTING AND EATING (HAVING THEIR DINNERBREAK) IN THE BACKROOM IN THE DARK. Seems like they are working under very bad workingconditions. Lack of information about access to the hotelrooms . At check in the receptionist told me to enter through the restaurant, But forgot to tell me about how you need to use another entrance when the "restaurant" is closed. The restaurant had guests saturday night at 21.45. Still they were not able to sell me a soda , other than by getting the manager. It made me feel like a criminal.

They are making a lot of repairs and maintenance. Hall, stairs, a lot of things looks like old, have seen even mold. walls between rooms very thin. i heard all things from the room 23 while i was staying in room 24 in my shower i dint find shampoo and shower gel. so i took a bath with hand soap. not nice at all
Restaurant very nice. real Germany style. with they own beer brewery.

The reason I booked this hotel was that it was a also brewery restaurant. I was looking forward to relaxing evening meal and try a few of the beers. When we arrived I asked if I could reserve a table in the restaurant. The answer was no tables were available. So we went into town for dinner. On returning I saw that the restaurant was pretty empty. Who knows what the problem was? To rub salt into my wounds later that night I asleep in bed and I was awoken by loud voices coming from terrace on the brewery. For breakfast we were the only guest in a massive winter garden. Definitely had that “we‘re going out of business soon” feel. They charged us 18 euros per head for breakfast. Definitely overpriced. It was Sunday and the white rolls were from the day before and the brown rolls were “bake your own rolls”. The fruit salad was a sliced up melon. We asked for a double room and got a twin. The curtains in the room were too thin and let in too much light. Parking costs 4 Euros. Very cheeky. My suggestions would be keep available tables in the restaurant for hotel guests. Train staff so that guest don’t go away feeling angry.
