The hotel closes at around 2 pm and after that guests use the back door to get in and out. Also it would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The hotel is very central. It is right in the centre of the town. There was plenty variety for breakfast. Hotel was very comfortable - very warm and cosy.

Unfortunately the WiFi wasn't working. UK TV channels via satellite would have been nice.

Not a criticism of the hotel, but not too many restaurants in the town and everything seemed to close by about 9.00pm, so eat early.

Lovely hotel, warm welcome, comfortable room, good breakfast. The hotel is in the middle of the town and virtually on the river bank. Lots of information, verbal and leaflets about things to do.

Your hear the noise from the streets when you have your windows open, I knew that beforehand since this wasn't our first time there... I like the hotel and location so much that I do not mind that.

The staff is friendly, the hotel is centrally located in the beautiful town... you can walk everywhere! Wonderful breakfast as well!

Room was on small side, fridge was supplied but not very cold and had to move it to bathroom because of noise. Room next to bell tower very warm,no fans so had to have windows open bells chimed every 15mins the whole night, 3 chimes every 1/4 hour. We heard other people talking at breakfast same problem, No reception to book in so I couldnt ask for my cold pack to go in freezer as Im carrying medicine with me that needs to be kept cold.Secure garage for bikes but when we went to pick bikes up it had been ,left open.

Perfect location right in centre, great breakfast

Church bells were a bit loud, but nothing earplugs couldn't handle. Ended up being there in a heat wave, so the windows needed to stay open all night. If closed, I'm sure it would be quieter. The location outweighed the bells!

The only downside (if it can be called that) was that we had a fridge available for cold drinks but didn't have a kettle if we wanted something hot, nothing major and we made do and didn't ask for one, but it might have been an added touch.

The staff were friendly and the hotel perfect for our needs. The room was comfortable and the sitting room and balcony were great too. Breakfast saw a traditional continental style with lots to choose from.

Friendly and English speaking staff. We felt very much at home. our three teenagers slept in the penthouse appartment which was super. We, two couples, had two comfort rooms, which were big and homely. We used the penthouse sitting room as family room. From the outside the building is nothing special but once inside we felt home away from home. Nice breakfast in cosy dining room. Located at the entrance of the lovely pittoresque village.

The Bells from the church next door ( and they are big bells) went off every 15 minutes. Throughout the night !! Hardly slept a wink. How and why these bells are allowed to do this we could not find out.

Location fantastic for access to town but also right next to a Church which caused a problem. The Hotel was closed from 5pm and so no facilities available such as bar or restaurant. Loads in town though which is practically 10 steps out of the front door.
