The walls were very thin so it was quite noisy and we could hear the people outside.

The bed was awful, and there was thick dust under the bed. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower almost unusable with the shower head not able to stay in one position and the narrowness of the area making it difficult to shower in.

The only drawback was a weak Wi-Fi signal on the 6th floor - it seems that the walls were too thick or the router was located somewhere near the reception.

A cozy beautiful building surrounded in greenery, both the outside and inside are old-fashioned and charming, making you feel special from the very beginning. The receptionist is friendly and polite, explaining everything in detail and answering all the questions. The entire lobby and staircases are covered with vintage posters (the rooms have them as well), so the experience felt a little bit like visiting a museum. As we stayed for one night only, we were lucky enough to get a 2-room suite under the roof. The bedroom was cozy, with a large wardrobe and a huge comfortable bed, the common area was spacious with a TV, a big sofa and a table for working. The bathroom was clean and fully-equipped with everything needed. The included breakfast was simple and tasty, with a large variety of jams, cereals, pastries and vegetables. Freshly brewed coffee and tea were offered. The dining area was filled with memorabilia from famous former visitors. To sum up, an amazing unique place with a history perfect to make the visit to Munich truly memorable.

It's a little walk from the nearest metro stop(about 400 meters). But it didn't bother me, because I had a lot of time. And the neighborhood is safe at night.

This hotel offers good value for the price. The room is comfortable although on the small side. Super comfortable bed, good size TV with programs in many languages. The room is quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast. Free bottled water all day, free coffee and cake in the afternoon. Staff is super-friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a little dated, which seems to translate on the size of the bathroom, which was rather cramped and overcrowded. Towel rail under the sink very nearly draped towels into the toilet for how close they were to each other! The hotel provides parking underground (for an additional fee) however access is restricted to less than 2mt. (maybe 1.9m?) which meant that we had to park our car with roof box on the street. We had no coins, and parking machines only seem to take coins or you must use an app - which took me nearly an hour to download, setup, register, add a credit card for payment etc. as it operates mostly in German (the English version only covers basic titles and not the important stuff) and it took forever to auto-translate and understand. Hotel porter couldn't help as he didn't drive. On street parking is tricky to find: a number of streets are for residents only, and the other ones seemed very busy even in August! Access to the hotel is close to a VERY busy junction, and finding the right turn and stopping in front to unload luggage was far from simple. Finally, we found the cost of the hotel a little overpriced for what it offers even considering the location. There is quite a lot of traffic and street noise overnight, which meant that sleeping with the windows open (there was no air-con) was not an option for us. On the second night we had a cooler sleep as we left windows open throughout the day and closed them before going to bed.

The hotel staff are very welcoming, and breakfast offering is very good. Hotel provides a fridge full of still and fizzy (glass)-bottled water for free in reception, and it is possible to take as many as required over the day. This was a welcome 'freebie', especially when returning to the hotel after having dined out - it's good to have a fresh bottle of water in the room before going to bed. Beds are comfortable, furniture solid and 'old-school' practical. Room service discreet and tidy. Overall rather clean.

Our room at the rear was a little dark but it was quiet. Beware the small 2cm step into the room from the hallway!! The bathroom was a little cramped but clean.

Family run hotel in very convenient location close to Rotkreutzplatz and transport. The room was clean and quiet, on the small size but perfectly adequate for a short stay, and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was included in the reasonable price and was excellent! All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Access to the room was strange, because you had to go through the gang or the balcony to get to the room. And this path is a bit outdated.

Public transportation is near, quiet surrondings, good breakfast, nice staff. For 3 people we had got a spaceful accomodation.

very small elevator (it was difficult to fit in with all bags and suitcases), no aircon, our room was facing the main street so it was loud from the street (we needed to have to windows open as it was hot - no aircon)
