Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicYou need to walk to it from the train station for good 7-10 minutes, the area is absolutely empty around it, there are no proper directions signs so you need to find a proper exit and route by trial and error
Very close to the airport, two train stops away - takes 15-20 minutes to get to the airport terminal

GermanyReception personell seemed overworked. The walking paths out of the reception are very unpractical (you have to surround the trees instead of being able to walk out right in front of the door and then go to the right. If you have to go 10 times to the station and you have reduced mobility it gets quite annoying.
Check-in kiosks were very useful Personnel at the breakfast buffet was very friendly Cleaning personnel were very helpful and friendly

GermanyNothing really negative to say about the hotel.
Nice cheap hotel close to the airport. Perfect if you are flying out really early or arriving late at night and don't want to travel to your destination directly after that. The hotel itself was nice and has big enough private parking lot. It was a bit on the expensive side, but at least there is one and it also fenced with a controlled entrance so you can leave your bags in the car and not worry about them getting stolen. The rooms themselves are big enough for a comfortable stay. Nothing special, but nothing was missing either. Everything was clean and kept up. While the hotel is at a big intersection, it is well isolated and there was no noise coming from the street at night.

Good location, useful to stay overnight if you have an early morning plane . There is a cattle and teas/instant coffee inside the room. Also food and drinks are available at the restaurant but I didn’t try them. The room with a street view is well isolated

Good breakfast. I wish they could add omelets to the menu, if possible. Location was OK too. I was not aware that there were 2 intercity hotels. On arrival I went to the one at the airport (near Terminal 1). I was guided to the correct one in Schõnefeld (near Terminal 5).

Germany20€ extra fee for the wellness/fitness facilities is quite expensive for an already quite expensive hotel.
Staff was able to provide a room with a connecting door and an extra bed for our smallest child, even though we seemed to have misbooked. Airport was not loud at all, so we could sleep just fine.

Germany- struggled to figure out the AC/ventilation system - the bed did not suit me - walking to the bus stop/S-Bahn at night
I booked the hotel for its good connection to the airport (direct night bus, 2 stops S-Bahn). It is ok safe to walk to the bus stop at night (3AM), but you should feel confident to do so. All is quite empty, some lone other people waiting for the bus as well. I decided not to use the S-Bahn (empty, bare and dark tunnel to reach the train tracks; not recommended at night times). The hotel was located within 5min walking distance of the bus stop/S-Bahn. The room was clean and functional. There was a fridge and a cattle and mugs. I had trouble sleeping as the room was super warm, and I could not figure out the ventilation system. The bed was good but did not suit my back unfortunately. The bathroom was clean with a shower and WC. Next time, I will book the Intercity hotel at the airport to avoid travelling with the night bus/S-Bahn.

GermanyThe room was according booking and clean. But, however, it was very warm inside the room when entering it for the first time. There was no change to cool down the room, but by slightly opening the window next to the bussy street. The room I got was very loudly beacause of a ventilation inside the building and no chance to adjust something. Recomendation: Ask for middle rooms and not rooms at the building edge.
Close to airport and public transport. Breakfast was ok and worth the costs.

Czech RepublicWe asked for the room to be ready at 2 pm and got it confirmed, but it wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we had to wait for 1 hour. Parking is charged on top - 17euro/ day.
Good location if you travel. Close to the train stop if you want to get to Berlin. They had a pancake machine and our son loved it. Good breakfast.
