It was a little expensive for quite a small room.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful - every kind of food I'd ever want for breakfast including fresh salami, delicious cheeses, bacon, homemade jam. The staff were incredibly friendly and when we checked in at 9pm the woman at reception phoned the restaurant to check whether they were still open and could feed us. The restaurant food (we had the salmon) was excellent.

We were never given a WiFi code, although each room has a tablet connected to the internet these are tricky to use to access overseas sights or personal accounts. Ok for a quick google search.

The hotel is classic with old world charm. Breakfast is very nice with a wide selection of meats, cheeses, vegetables, breads, fruit, yogurt and cereals. The rooms are spacious, even with a triple and the extra bed. Public areas are relaxing and well maintained. We enjoyed a meal in the adjoining restaurant too.

Nothing negative about hotel. Regarding Eisenach- Make sure you eat dinner early or get a reservation for dinner. Not many places to eat after 6 pm.

The reception in the hotel was really bad. One felt that one was disturbance to the personnel who needed to stop their breakfast and come to the reception. The bath tub in the room was not very clean. Hot water run out during the breakfast and instead of just bringing boiled water, the poured cold water to the samovar and it took "ages" to get it hot.

Location was good near the railway station as well as the old city center. The breakfast was very good. the room (when we got it changed ) was nice.

Breakfast choices not adapted to international tastes, mostly savory, few sweet options. Breakfast room personnel could improve. Room could've been more spacious, and parking lot is not big enough.

Although there's elevator, there's some steps before you can reach the reception area, so it is Inconvenient if you are carrying a large/heavy bag. No AC nor fan, but luckily it was not hot even during summer (not sure if I was lucky or if it never gets hot)

Location was great, just walking distance to main train station, and by entrance of town. Cozy room, a little small, and courtesy sparkling water in room. Also, good breakfast included.Massage offered at extra cost.

The Hotel is overall out of date: in some areas the furniture, the tapestry, the carpets should be urgently renewed. Although the environment is generally refined and elegant, there's poor attention to the details. Beds were seriously uncomfortable. Breakfast was acceptable (quality and quantity) but quite sloppy. From a German 4 stars hotel I definetely expected more.

Excellent central position. Good private parking facilities (5€ / day). Nice ambience in the Reception.

Good breakfast and a smart comfortable lounge/bar area. Friendly reception staff. Large room. Nice touch to have a Samsung tablet with a WLAN connection beside the bed.

Not much to complain about. The only thing we can say is that the bathroom was small.

Classic and elegant hotel well situated in the front of the Altstadt! Very service minded receptionist, she really made us feel welcome to the hotel. Stylish big room with a view of the street and houses on the other side of the street, although it was very quiet in the night. Nice hotel bar. Good parking possibilities in the Backyard of the hotel.

I found the hotel a little expensive for the standard of accomodation, though it was representative of prices elsewhere in Eisenach.

There was nothing we did not like. Everything was lovely!

This hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly. I travelled with my family. We had only planned to stay one night and decided on an extra night . The hotel was so helpful in accommodating our request. The location is wonderful being in walking distance to the main sites. It was extremely clean. The breakfast had plenty of choices of breads, cereals, cold meats, cheese, fruit , coffee and juices as well as hot items. I would recommend this hotel.

The location is in the town center, so there is traffic noise on the street side. Many guests come to tour the nearby castle and choose to eat breakfast early, so the hot food can disappear quickly with a bit of delay in replenishing.

The staff was 5-star. The lobby and Weinrestaurant ambiance are extremely nice. There is an extra heater at foot level in the bathroom to use at the guest's option. Bottled water and chocolates are in the room when you walk in. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel has an elevator!

Unfortunately our room (a studio) was on the road side of the property and right next to a set of traffic lights at the bottom of a hill. Because there was no air conditioning and it was warm we had to open the window which made the room noisy. Also the room was small. If you put out the folding luggage stand then you couldn't open the door to the room. There had previously been a mini bar and the cupboard had been left in situ with the door screwed shut. This took away valuable space. We would have appreciated a second chair, especially as there was a small desk! Having said this I think if you booked a room on the 'evens' side and a grading one up from a studio then you would be fine. We felt that the dining room was understaffed for Sunday breakfast.

One of the young receptionists spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The property is on the edge of the tourist area, which we prefer, has elegant reception areas and was quiet along the corridors. The breakfast bar offered a good selection of food and drink.

Windows do not fully isolate the sound, so it can be a bit noisy.

Very close to both the train station and the town centre, this hotel looks elegant and stylish and is really nice. The single room I had was small, but sufficient, the bathroom was modern and both were very clean. Breakfast is nice too and I can recommend the hotel bar. There is also a direct connection to one of the best restaurants in Eisenach, the Turmschänke. Staff was very helpful, too.

The room was quite chilly when I got there and there was no possibility to change the room temperature. The Wifi was acting up and didn't work for most of the night. While the location itself is good for making city tours etc., the hotel is also directly by a (relatively) big street which makes the breakfast room a bit noisy in the mornings. All in all no big problem but slightly annoying.

There was a tablet provided in my room and the rooms as well as the entire hotel were clean. Staff was very friendly and professional. The location of the hotel itself is at the border of the old town.
