This was the smallest room I’ve ever seen in a hotel : )) It was ok for me cause I didn’t have luggage, but if you have luggage then you’ll struggle😅 The Wifi was not good There was no toothbrush and toothpaste set in the room There was a phone in the room but no instruction on how to call the reception :) so I had to go down to the reception if I wanted something

The location was perfect, so close to the main station, Cathedral and shopping streets The room was clean, heating system was working well and it was generally comfortable for a short stay It was a good stay for a couple of nights, It would’ve been nice if they had tea/coffee service in the rooms

A little bit expensive, considering the room size. However, we didn't book in advance, so maybe we payed a little more for being walk-ins.

Very good position, quite and nice area, near to the train station, to the river and to the shopping area. The staff was helpful, especially the lady who gave me valuable shopping advice! :-)

My main light in the room was not working, and I was told that they could only call someone to fix it on Monday. The room was basic and really expensive for one night with no breakfast included.

Great location, very centrally located, which made it easy to get around. I booked a single room which was small but doable for one night.

Rooms are very small and let's say difficult to open door to the bathroom when room door is opened. Not enough hooks for clothes. No hooks for towels in bathroom Overall, everything is OK, but not comparing to the price. We stayed in city twice during week, next time chose another hotel in same location and it was cheaper and better comparing to current

Location is very good, also they provide free mini bar and vouchers for a free beer in their restaraunt. Unfortunately it was closed due to Christmas holidays

For people staying on the 4th floor there's no lift from 3rd to 4th floors. Also careful not to bang your head because of sloping ceilings. Room very small!

Room was super clean!! looked exactly the same in the pictures. Might seem small but it was more than enough for one person anyway. I enjoyed the complimentary drink, thanks again. Staff is super nice and helpful. Very well organized for a family owned hotel in the hearth of the city. Its right next to a Christmas market and a short walking distance to 3 others, which i enjoyed the most. Street wasnt loud. Definitely would stay again.

Would like the option of firm rectangular, foam pillows. The square feather pillows are just not comfortable.

Staff was very attentive, accommodating and friendly. Location is very central, close to main train station, cathedral and other sights. Comfortable, clean rooms with good beds. Breakfast was good offering a decent selection. Would definitely stay again.

The space is very small. The bathroom in particular is extremely cramped & we kept knocking the walls when trying to move about in it. The carpet was full of bleached stains which didn’t give a good impression. The room could do with a little bit of care, there was a hole in the sheer curtain, the carpet had several bleach stains on it which didn’t give a good impression, our safe wasn’t open & also didn’t get opened even after we asked. The pillows were awful & thin. Could definitely use an upgrade. The duvets too were thin & there was no other blanket available, we were also told that it might cost extra to request an extra blanket, which seemed very unusual for us! Considering it was winter we were quite cold the first night, until the heating had time to kick in. Then it ended up being ok.

The location was great, although being so close to the the heumarkt Christmas market as well as a brauhaus & an irish pub there’s a fair amount of noise going past. But it doesn’t present a problem later in the evening thankfully. The staff were very friendly & mostly helpful. The breakfast is ok, not amazing but definitely good, and they do have a fair selection. The room & bathroom was clean.

Close to the train station, short walk. Smallish room on the 4th floor. Lift goes up to the third floor, can be tricky if you had heavy luggage to get up by stairs to fourth floor. Ideal to walk around Cologne by foot . Comfy bed. Ideal for short one or two night stay
