-Was quite pricy for what we got - the room is quite small -the spa is in another building and quite old - there is a renovation going in the corridor and some rooms -extra charges ( e.g on one side of the bottle there was “willkommen” , on the other side was the price)

Room was not sound isolated (through the gap under the door came a lot of noise one night, but as our room was close to lounge, I guess it is not a problem in other parts of the hotel). So it would be good to fix sound isolation for rooms that are close to the central staircase and the lounge/breakfast room.

Perfect location, home atmosphere. Breakfast is organized in such a way that you are greeted at entrance and guided to the table, the coordinator covers the table with fresh white tablecloth and brings a kettle with coffee. You even have a perfect choice of excellent tea. Pastries are very tasty.

The interiors are little old / worn looking although everything is very clean.

I very much appreciated that the hotel accommodated one extra person in our room, even tho this request came very late, the staff was friendly, beds comfortable, good breakfast with big variety of food. Good location near sea & harbor and also very close to the National Park.

The WiFi didn’t work at all for us, which is the only negative thing I feel.

The location is really close the promenade and the main station. The hotel room was really clean and is a bit antique style. The morning breakfast is nice but could be more options for vegetarians or vegan friendly people.

No WiFi coverage, at all. They just have one hotspot which most probably doesn't reach your room. The shower was too cramped. This was ironic considering the size of the bathroom of 4-5 sq. meters.

The room we selected had a separate sitting area, it was therefore very spacious. The breakfast room of the hotel was located at a vantage point with beautiful views. Throughout the hotel one can find numerous paintings, artworks and ship models. The breakfast spread itself was very good. Free parking.

Rooms were old, with thin walls letting sound pass quite a bit. Bathroom in need of renovation, obvious plumbing problems. Very expensive (but it was Rügen in summer, it's overpriced everywhere).

Breakfast was varied and nice, but crowded at times. Parking besides the hotel for free. Comfortable beds. Sassnitz is very well situated to explore Jasmund National Park. Decoration in the hotel was really nice, the restaurant is pricey but the food was good.

The structure was not finished and there was a lot of powder in the rooms and corridors, because of the work done in the building. Very unhealthy situation.The staff did not even mention this situation or offered any discount for the inconvenience. We stayed for the night and left as soon as possible. Last but not least, Sassnitz is a bit depressing, not a place where to stay on vacation for a few days.

Elegant facade, walkable to town centre and harbour with extensive renovation work underway inside. Hotel restaurant was closed for operational reasons when we stayed. Many occupants seem to be shift workers, with lots of noise in corridors around 5-6 o’clock in mornings, even at weekends. 3rd floor windows are small and high up, some with nice sea views. Probably better views on second floor, with larger windows, depending on direction of room. Breakfast buffet varied, plentiful and fresh. No sweet pastries or cooked elements beyond scrambled eggs and saussages. Kur-hotel label is a misrepresentation as the sauna and pool are located in neigbouring hotel, (Hotel Rugen 50metres away). Towels are provided by the kur-hotel though. There are three saunas, 2 seemed to have defective thermostats when we visited July 2023. Sauna area is clean and was not much in use when we were there. Overall enjoyed our stay, but overpriced for actual service.

A minor niggle was that the lift had broken down.

Well located, spotlessly clean hotel with plenty of free parking. We had a very comfortable two-room suite for three adults. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast excellent. The pool in the hotel next door (free to access) was convenient and pool towels were provided. We even had a good sea view; a great experience overall.
